    Location featured in this video:
    Lil Miss Collins
    Address: 13 Wentworth St, Parramatta
    No 1 Malatang Eastwood
    Address: 1 Lakeside Rd, Eastwood
my favourite malatang restaurant in the city:
    张亮麻辣烫 Zhang Liang Malatang
Address: Shop 1B&1C, 718 George St, Haymarket
My go-to when I'm at a Malatang restaurant
    1. Knife cut noodles
    2. 2 x Beef balls
    3. 2 x Fish balls
    4. Fatty beef slices
    5. Konjac vermicelli
    6. wambok
    7. raddish (but only if they cook it for long enough so that it's nice and soft)
    8. Soup base - tomato soup
We are continuing with the theme of noodles on this channel and in this video we head to Malatang 麻辣烫! See this is something that i do like to go whenever i cant be bother cooking - you can choose your own ingredients, choose your noodles and pay however much your bowl weighs.
There are various malatang restaurants here in Sydney - whenever i am in the city, i head to Zhang Liang Malatang (张亮麻辣烫) - i feel there is more of what i like there ( i really like their knife cut noodles).
if you havent been you should definitely check it out! it's getting colder here in sydney so a nice hot bowl of noodles sounds gooooood.
    Hope you enjoyed this video!

Parramatta. When I was visiting Sydney last year, I took a ferry at Darling Harbor and without realizing, I took the wrong direction. Fell asleep on the ferry and woke up in Parramatta! I got out then got lost and it took me more than one hour to go back by bus! 🤣If knew, I could at least have enjoyed a good coffee at that place! That's typically how I visit new places... always get lost

$28 easy lol! We don’t even add any noodles, cos it can makes us feel full fast. We like to get tons of seafoods and vege, and my fave is the tofu with cheese. Our fave malatang to go to is at Liverpool St in Sydney near work or at Chatswood near the train station. The sesame sauce, garlic sauce, some sugar, and other sauces and toppings you can add in makes it more special. And yes it’s time to eat Malatang again, nice vid Janice!

Hi Janice , Thanks for the video,
    When I go I average $25 😂.
I’ve been to Hurstville, bondi junction, chatswood and Burwood branches ,
Bondi Junction now has laksa soup, Burwood I find is the best as they have additional condiments, like dried onions, shallots, to add to your bowl once cooked ,
Your tomato soup looks good, I’ll have to try that next time as I normally get the spice original base,
Is your tomato soup base spicy?
    Cheers

    • @JaniceFung
      @JaniceFung  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

It’s not that spicy but has a bit of numbing feel. My fave one is actually zhang Liang malatang in the city!
