You were very unenthusiastic for something so amazing. I am amazed at all the work you put into it. You deserve more subscribers and I will be one of them. Have an amazing future!
"Oh yeah here's my fully functioning Fallout city with a working post office, standing arming with its own ranking system, and automatic settlement algorithms. No big deal I guess..."
as a player who really got into the settlement crafting portion of the game rather than the actual game, I tip my proverbial hat to you sir! this is by far the best organized and most impressive factory ive seen any other player create.
Yeah shit thats really dope, good work man! The layout of the builders is superb and I like that you used those new conduits on the floor. So well done keep it up!
thats funny that you mention that, i made 3 really massive build guides and they didn't get the attention i thought they would, so this time im like fuck the guide, then it blew up and turned in to me biggest video yet, so i wont have a guide on this one specifically but i will be sure to make guides on how to build my good ones in the future
THIS is the best factory Ive seen so far well done mate !!! I struggle with even the basics so to see your factory its so complex for me but I figure it out eventually!! 10/10 !!
wow, this is probably the best factory ive seen so far in this game. Im ashamed now with my factory,,,time to scrap it lol, its basically 4 walls, one roof, no upper floors, some random conveyor belts and a lightbulb, .......... and an electric door...and the lightbulb and the door are switchable with one switch. it also has the same neon letters, displaying Factory, which turn on with the same switch, i basically had no clue what machinery to build, so i abandoned it. Basically, it fills all the criteria for a n00b factory
dude you are so fucking smart. My puny insignificant mind would not even begin to fathom the thought process you endured to make the factory come out so smooth.
+GameVibz you gain the ability to do something with your free time likens for example I don't go outside with friends and I don't have a job so on summer break I sit down and play Xbox all day every day
Fantastic job, my suggestions to you are just to explain everything in a little more depth. The factory seems a bit crowded with the machines but thats what I would expect.
GameVibz Right, you made this Video, because you are another self-important jerk, feeling the need to show things off, but since you are of below average intelligence and got neither skill, nor talent, this video sucks and your reaction also shows, that you an immature moron. Did I forget anything ?
I liked the lighting in your factory a lot. It looks just like a dungeon from the game itself, just a little less decorated :O At night it's easier to see your lighting, daytime makes it easier to see the factory itself. Maybe combine two videos and offer footage at both day and night?
Nice architectural design! But how about completely automation of all process? I mean you don't have to run and switch the tumblers, load containers, etc.? I\m working on smth like this. The goal is to drive all process from one remote panel using buttons and computer. There will be circled belt, not used resources will return to start location, parallel lines for each builder, selectors with returning rejected resources to start location and so on... You can switch on\off the line for every builder. Remote control uses the complex of logic gates, which defines what splitters should be turned on\off\blinc left-right. It looks like more massive project, for now the system for 3 builders took 2 warhouse floors and actually has 5 belt sublevels...
That's quite a contraption you've got there. Too bad it isn't self sorting though eh! Wouldn't it be cool if it had scanners and a program you could run? Maybe some day..
Does the hopper sort junk into different "ingredients"? Or rather, is there a part of the Contraptions that takes junk and "breaks it down" into various ingredients? So far I've been getting ingredients from vendors as "shipment of....." or scrapping things at the individual workbenches. I'm hoping there's an easier way to scrap my junk into base components.
Well, this factory is just perfect for sure. But i've got a question: I saw some pictures where you can put switches on the ball track. So i thought: if you combine a ball track with the switches that change directions at the conveyor belts, you'll get a constant output of everything every 30 seconds. Or so i think. Depending on how fast the steel ball rolls. Unfortunatly i can't test my theory by myself because i don't have ANY conveyor belts or anything in my build menu and i don't know why. So what you're thinking? could my idea work?
One awesome build that's got to be the biggest settlement build without mods two I just want to see many hours you have on fallout 4 three now that's one good way to make capitalism or arm your settlers
Hey Humans of the internet, I was wondering what would be the best settlement to create a large scale factory/city, that is entirely run by robots and synths (I love the institute). I was thinking Gray Garden, Egret Tours Marina or Spectacle Island. Any ideas/advice?
Holy crap, man. How much time have you used to make this thing work? It seems so seemless, with the switches perfectly aligned, and the fact that you have all connected to ONE pc is amazing. I'm an engineer, so I appreciate to see someone with a good logic understanding of inputs and outputs. Still playing around with logic gates, myself. Made a video with just two machines, had to use 2 pc's just for that, for some odd reason.
i was wondering why this lagged like nuts, but i guess it makes a lot of sense since its on a console... anyways weird this got into my suggestions. pretty cool though
wow, well done. how did you get out of the build limitation? i built up jamaica plain with a bunch of stuff and this yellow bar on the upper right hand side of my hud filled and i couldnt build anymore.
i completely agree. put this out within the first 2 days the dlc was out, rushed it. i intend to make a much better one in the future. stay posted, ill even remember this conversation and copy the link so you see it. thanks for the input.
Nice! I thought it would have taken much longer actually. There's a lot there and the build system in FO4 is a bit finicky sometimes. Did you use any mods / console commands to make the building a bit easier?
try this - send the elevator to the bottom level before leaving the settlement or fast traveling. The buttons don't dissapear, they stay at the floor they stay at the floor you leave it at. however, the lift itself returns to the bottom floor.
Is there a point to mass producing anything other than ammo or explosives? It's gonna take forever to sell everything, and after all your settlers are equipped with the best armor and weapons, I can't think of any reason to keep two thirds of that factory running.
Major question: looks like you’ve got all the conveyor belts straight, almost like they’ve snapped to the floor. How did you make the belts run that straight?
How did you get all of your materials into that one hopper? Did you have the work shop feed into it or what. Also i tried to have items come out of my workshop and all of it chooses to come out when i want specific thing to go out. sorry if that was hard to understand but i need help plz
Is it possible to earn money with it? If I buy junk from a trader... is it possible to build something out of it and make money with it? Example... a pen and something else for just 3-5 caps transforming into a weapon or armor for around 30 selling price? it is possible right?
i promise i will man, iv just been so burnt out from playing so much fallout lately i want to wait until nuka world is out and play around a bit. then ill get to it! i don't need money but i always appreciate subs
i find this new stuff to be rather pointless for the most part. rather than building what you have done i prefer to use the damage you can take from physical objects hitting you at high speed (like a skeleton you trip over in skyrim that bounces off the ceiling of a cave and smacks you in the face and takes half your hp... and is still possible in fallout 4 oddly enough) and combine it with the conveyor belts as a delivery system to build the most despicable traps that dump an avalanche of junk on unsuspecting victims from really high up. i am curious though, what sort of glitch did you encounter with the 4 story elevator that you had to avoid using it?
Nice, but "no mods used, this is legit" is tad wrong - mods are legit, not to mention that DLC's are also mods :) No mods at all would be just the vanilla game.
More proper and civilized then you at any rate. My comment was aimed at "legit" word specifically, to point out that the mods ARE legit. Whether one likes or wants to use them is a different thing and a personal preference and that's fine. As for you, if you can't post a normal reply then don't bother replying at all, it only makes you look like a dipshit.
You should pull out your stick, maybe then you can write normal responses then. Saying "no mods were used" is clear for everyone, no questions asked. Saying "no mods were used, so it's legit" makes someone new to the game and mods wonder if mods are "not legit" in that case, is it so on every platform or just consoles/PC, why would it not be legit and so on. Don't get me wrong, I like what's been done and built, it looks amazing and certainly gives ideas to other modders as well (heck, I may myself use some ideas to improve my builds), but when publishing videos to many viewers one should consider what they're saying, else it can create issues from mild confusion to statements "but he said mods are not legit!" and who wants that? As for parties then yeah, I am "no fun" at parties where the main goal is just to get drunk or high, those are no parties, just collective drinking/getting high. How lame. But actual parties where people have fun and don't get wasted, I do very well, thank you. I don't care much about parties though, waste of time.
what are you playing this game at? 20 fps? it's a good showcase but my god man, i have a 750ti and an i5 4690 with a few 4k texture mods and other mods on fallout 4 and it runs much better than this.
Xbox one, it ran completely fine until the massive factory came along, if I were to get it to run fine it'd be either the factory or Arena that had to go, witch is why my spectacle island is now finished. I'll never add anything else because your right it fucking sucks, working on my new one now stay tuned lol
GameVibz if i may, i would highly recommend getting a good PC, you will have a much better time, i'm still building on my spectacle island and your videos have given me some good insight into what i should build next, if i ever decide to record i will be sure to include my island and give you a shout out as my inspiration, i also recommend getting a good mic, good sound quality is key if you want to grow and entertain people, the samsung meteor is a very cheap and extremely capable microphone that gives excellent sound quality
liked it dude.check my factory out all auto running. plus it sorts out stuff you dont want in your system or things you don't need like bones lol. it's Us Army Factory latest video.
"No mods all legit" I get some mods are like cheats, but playing without mods isn't some grand achievement, nor is asking people to go like the Fallout 4 settlements Facebook page. Then again, you are a filthy console casual who probably couldn't tell me the differences between fallout 3 - NV - and 4 other than. "Those old ones suck you can't build anything and it takes FOREVER to do stuff" :P
GameVibz Haha, my work here is done, all it took was a minute and a half of writing and you flipped your lid. First off, NO playing without mods and building something like that isn't amazing, for starters you didn't even have every type of machine in your "HUGE Factory" not to mention nothing was actually automated, you had manual switches for everything, they put repeaters in the game for a reason. Second, if you think people mod their game so that they can cheat and just act like a god, you're a sad sad man indeed. Then again you seem to have some serious misconceptions about modding and fallout in general. The most impressive thing you've done that i saw in that video was you did a good job using space, and cramping everything together, something that can be hard if you can't turn clipping off, like on console. Also if you can't figure out WHY i ripped on you for telling people to go like a facebook page for a feature that ruined a game I'm not even going to bother with your immaculate level of ignorance.
You were very unenthusiastic for something so amazing. I am amazed at all the work you put into it. You deserve more subscribers and I will be one of them. Have an amazing future!
haha! sorry bud i was super tired ill deff work on that
+GameVibz no, sorry to you! Keep up the great work! I had no idea you were tired, but you did a great job!
"Oh yeah here's my fully functioning Fallout city with a working post office, standing arming with its own ranking system, and automatic settlement algorithms. No big deal I guess..."
LOL!
I actually find the speech soothing
I wished I was smart enough to pull off such a build ; -;
Why are you putting yourself down? All you have to do is some reading.
+CounterNerd reading? what is this reading? reading is just a myth? xD
*****
I mean reading tutorials. But probably first and foremost read books and whatever you want for inspiration.
Hollis Jayden try it out then like they say practice makes perfect
as a player who really got into the settlement crafting portion of the game rather than the actual game, I tip my proverbial hat to you sir! this is by far the best organized and most impressive factory ive seen any other player create.
Yeah shit thats really dope, good work man! The layout of the builders is superb and I like that you used those new conduits on the floor. So well done keep it up!
Dude, i have to say, you totally impressed me! This is the best factory I've seen so far, you just earned another subscriber!
thanks man! iv been working hard since i made this to update my house. you'll be seeing it soon i think you'll like it!
Great! I cant wait to see it! Do you think you can do a guide on how to make the factory also? Because I would really like this to be in my game too!
thats funny that you mention that, i made 3 really massive build guides and they didn't get the attention i thought they would, so this time im like fuck the guide, then it blew up and turned in to me biggest video yet, so i wont have a guide on this one specifically but i will be sure to make guides on how to build my good ones in the future
Oh ok, I can't wait to see it!
THIS is the best factory Ive seen so far well done mate !!! I struggle with even the basics so to see your factory its so complex for me but I figure it out eventually!! 10/10 !!
I think the red mood lighting makes this build extremely aesthetically pleasing
wow, this is probably the best factory ive seen so far in this game. Im ashamed now with my factory,,,time to scrap it lol, its basically 4 walls, one roof, no upper floors, some random conveyor belts and a lightbulb,
.......... and an electric door...and the lightbulb and the door are switchable with one switch. it also has the same neon letters, displaying Factory, which turn on with the same switch, i basically had no clue what machinery to build, so i abandoned it.
Basically, it fills all the criteria for a n00b factory
Great job! I especially liked how the red lights looked at night. Very cool.
dude you are so fucking smart. My puny insignificant mind would not even begin to fathom the thought process you endured to make the factory come out so smooth.
these settlement video look sooooo fun I just don't have the patience to build lmao
patience in everything is one of the best things you can work on in RL
in my opinion
FUCK MAN I WANT YOUR BASE ITS LOOKING SO FUCKING GOOD!
TO SURPASS SIZE BAR DROP WEAPONS THEN STORE THEM IN WORKSHOP MODE
There is a mod that gives basically infinite
yeah, but we console players need our legit ways for achievements
+GameVibz idiots care about achievements they don't gain you anything
neither do playing video games, but here we are.
+GameVibz you gain the ability to do something with your free time likens for example I don't go outside with friends and I don't have a job so on summer break I sit down and play Xbox all day every day
Great video. That factory is impressive. Very impressive!
i love how the contraption dlc makes building settlements relevant
preston, i hope i make you proud
Preston will be going face-first into the meat grinder for harvesting.
It literally blew me off the chair! awesome work!
This is really nice dude, great job!
Beautiful factory, I have the DLC but have not used the factory set up yet. Great design it looks amazing.
You got that building looking really good with having no mobs.
you're far cleverer than I am I just learned how you even use the Factory machines very nice setup
I hope I find that factory. Thanks for sharing, it's a great idea and looks awesome.
Very impressive sir! Incredible job
Fantastic job, my suggestions to you are just to explain everything in a little more depth. The factory seems a bit crowded with the machines but thats what I would expect.
Thats some impressive machinery there!
Great design! This dlc does a ton for replayability for me
Well made factory love it.
impressive factory nice job 😊
Awesome factory, currently trying to build one in my current survival game. I have one machine set up so far.
Imagine if you had Manufacturing Extended.
Note to myself: In case of insomnia, reload this Video and listen to this guy for 10 seconds - perfect dose to almost instantly fall asleep.
good thing i didn't make this video to please you.
GameVibz Right, you made this Video, because you are another self-important jerk, feeling the need to show things off, but since you are of below average intelligence and got neither skill, nor talent, this video sucks and your reaction also shows, that you an immature moron.
Did I forget anything ?
Awesome! Nicely done!
Very impressive!
That is amazing.
Very awesome!
Very nice layout! Could clean up the wires with new conduits for a neater look.
you do the machine god proud
This should be put as a mod. That would be awesome.
This makes me sad because I can never build something that elaborate.
I liked the lighting in your factory a lot. It looks just like a dungeon from the game itself, just a little less decorated :O
At night it's easier to see your lighting, daytime makes it easier to see the factory itself. Maybe combine two videos and offer footage at both day and night?
yeah ill be making a video called Ultimate Spec island 2.0 ill be showing it all plus new things iv made in the daylight
you should have shown all the created items coming out
Nice architectural design! But how about completely automation of all process? I mean you don't have to run and switch the tumblers, load containers, etc.?
I\m working on smth like this. The goal is to drive all process from one remote panel using buttons and computer. It looks like more massive project, for now the system for 3 builders took 2 warhouse floors and actually has 5 belt sublevels...
There is a mod called manufacturing extended (which is on Xbox one) which would make the factory much better
The mod is also on PC
awesome video, checkout the mod where it expands what you can make, manufacturing expanded is its name i think ,not totally sure though.
hard to see some things inside but its cool.
Thats pretty cool what I mean by that is awesome.
Good building skills :)
That's quite a contraption you've got there. Too bad it isn't self sorting though eh! Wouldn't it be cool if it had scanners and a program you could run? Maybe some day..
please release a how to build video for this factory please!
Does the hopper sort junk into different "ingredients"? Or rather, is there a part of the Contraptions that takes junk and "breaks it down" into various ingredients? So far I've been getting ingredients from vendors as "shipment of....." or scrapping things at the individual workbenches. I'm hoping there's an easier way to scrap my junk into base components.
actually i the sorting ones are the only thing i haven't played around with so im not to sure
Well, this factory is just perfect for sure. But i've got a question: I saw some pictures where you can put switches on the ball track. One awesome build that's got to be the biggest settlement build without mods two I just want to see many hours you have on fallout 4 three now that's one good way to make capitalism or arm your settlers
Badass-ery. Publish! I'd use this shit outta this!
Hey Humans of the internet, I was wondering what would be the best settlement to create a large scale factory/city, that is entirely run by robots and synths (I love the institute). I was thinking Gray Garden, Egret Tours Marina or Spectacle Island. Any ideas/advice?
Spectacle Island is the largest settlement, but I think there is also a drive in theater that is pretty large, and mostly flat. Both are good imo.
Impressive
Brilliant effort mate. How long did that take?
and here I thought I was good at building...
Please do a how to video so I can make this b/c that is bad ass!!!
i was wondering why this lagged like nuts, but i guess it makes a lot of sense since its on a console... anyways weird this got into my suggestions. pretty cool though
wow, well done. how did you get out of the build limitation? i built up jamaica plain with a bunch of stuff and this yellow bar on the upper right hand side of my hud filled and i couldnt build anymore.
drop guns then store them in workshop mode
if you are on pc try manufactoring extended
Really good start, but much improvement needed.
i completely agree. put this out within the first 2 days the dlc was out, rushed it. i intend to make a much better one in the future. stay posted, ill even remember this conversation and copy the link so you see it. thanks for the input.
Okay, its been 10 months. Where is the link?
Cr1tiKal's younger brother?
dayum
how dose one fit this all in one place
Very impressive. Do you have to collect the unused materials from the forges and reload it all at the top floor?
well i suppose you would if you wanted to but i don't actually use it i just made it for fun
How long did it take you to make this?
Very cool! How long did it take to built?
16 hours, but that was cuz i made it up as i went along
Nice! I thought it would have taken much longer actually. There's a lot there and the build system in FO4 is a bit finicky sometimes. Did you use any mods / console commands to make the building a bit easier?
nope all ligit man, for the whole island
Ice bear likes
Buttons on my elevator keeps disappearing. Very annoying but I also created stairs.
try this - send the elevator to the bottom level before leaving the settlement or fast traveling. The buttons don't dissapear, they stay at the floor they stay at the floor you leave it at. however, the lift itself returns to the bottom floor.
Beafypotato I'll give it a shot
So now, instead of looking for that suit of Heavy Combat armor, you just find a few tires and a wine bottle and shove it in a generic-looking machine?
subbed
Is there a point to mass producing anything other than ammo or explosives? It's gonna take forever to sell everything, and after all your settlers are equipped with the best armor and weapons, I can't think of any reason to keep two thirds of that factory running.
Major question: looks like you’ve got all the conveyor belts straight, almost like they’ve snapped to the floor. How did you make the belts run that straight?
ReeceDogg100 I just eye it out in line with the floor panels
This is hurting my eyes, why are you showing us at midnight lol
How did you get all of your materials into that one hopper? Did you have the work shop feed into it or what. Also i tried to have items come out of my workshop and all of it chooses to come out when i want specific thing to go out.
sorry if that was hard to understand but i need help plz
you can store it all by pressing X or O for the hopper the way you make specifics come out is you need to use sortes and component sorters
this guy breaks it down perfect
th-cam.com/video/ZQ2QJOulV4U/w-d-xo.html
also one more thing :( can you put items back in the workshop?
Could you do a remake in the light
when i finish redoing my island with the new dlc stuff i will
Is it possible to earn money with it? If I buy junk from a trader... is it possible to build something out of it and make money with it?
Example... a pen and something else for just 3-5 caps transforming into a weapon or armor for around 30 selling price?
it is possible right?
Now i imagine everyone with alot of junk but no caps making a monopoly out of this
How do you have so much buildings without the size meter maxing out?
Drop weapons then store them in workshop mode
ah, Thank you!
How did you turn off your hud ingame? do keyboards work with xbox one?
Start, settings, display, his occupancy
+GameVibz hud*
Why does every single person on TH-cam do showcase videos at night?
I'd pay to have a tutorial on how to build this.
i promise i will man, iv just been so burnt out from playing so much fallout lately i want to wait until nuka world is out and play around a bit. then ill get to it! i don't need money but i always appreciate subs
Sounds great, +1 sub!
nice video man good job try to be a little more happy tho
I subbed you play all the same games i do
What was the bug you encountered with the elevator
There is no elevator that goes to the fourth floor so he had to build to elevators
+Jimmy Fisher two
+Jimmy Fisher There are four floor elevators.
If we've encountered the same glitch, it's that the buttons disappear on the four-flour elevator, making it useless
the stupid buttons kept glitching and appearing 1 level above where they should be
How did you get the red lights?
its in the electronic section but not in lights its in the category that has the computer
i find this new stuff to be rather pointless for the most part. rather than building what you have done i prefer to use the damage you can take from physical objects hitting you at high speed (like a skeleton you trip over in skyrim that bounces off the ceiling of a cave and smacks you in the face and takes half your hp... and is still possible in fallout 4 oddly enough) and combine it with the conveyor belts as a delivery system to build the most despicable traps that dump an avalanche of junk on unsuspecting victims from really high up.
i am curious though, what sort of glitch did you encounter with the 4 story elevator that you had to avoid using it?
I didn't even watch because I couldn't see shit. Put some lights in there.
The Blev5ter i could see it fine mabey your brightness is low?
Nice, but "no mods used, this is legit" is tad wrong - mods are legit, not to mention that DLC's are also mods :) No mods at all would be just the vanilla game.

liked it dude.check my factory out all auto running. plus it sorts out stuff you dont want in your system or things you don't need like bones lol. it's Us Army Factory latest video.
on what location is that?
Spectacle island man I literally say that in the first sentence
GameVibz haha sorry, didn't pay attention i suppose
but the fps tho. its a bugger she is.
damn my nigga how long did it take youto build that?
Your settlement looks like it's really good, but your really dull, try to be more enthusiastic.
"No mods all legit" I get some mods are like cheats, but playing without mods isn't some grand achievement, nor is asking people to go like the Fallout 4 settlements Facebook page. im not reading your life story lol youll be talking to yourself from this point on
GameVibz Oh, right, sorry. Console... Small words are needed... Ahem. "YOU, ARE, AN, IGNORA... No, no, to long....DUMB GUY" Simple enough for you?
how many Time u spend to create a so big factory????
Illusion Gaming well the contraptions dlc came out and I worked on it for two straight days so about 12 hours honestly
GameVibz wow not Bad ^^
Did you make a how too on this?
