And if you notice the Ethiopian eunuch who asked about baptism was conflating baptism with salvation but he was subtlety corrected. He asked very specifically: What must I do to be baptized. He didn't ask what must I do to get saved. And the response was believe on Christ, then go get baptized.
I liken this to an analogy of a man who is dirty and weary from his long traveles. And he comes across a big beautiful mansion with a courtyard, and inside the courtyard are all sorts people, from all walks of life, and all are enjoying an exquisite banquet. The man is simultaneously stunned and thrilled to see such a magnificent site. But he presupposes that he must pay to enter, and yet doesn't even look the part, but he's hungry. Then notices that even the servants are eating from the banquet so he cautiously enters in through the narrow gates into the lavish courtyard. But as he does so he is intercepted by one of the servants. Now the man turned to flee but to his surprise another servant caught him, but instead of being wroth with the man. The man was escorted kindly into the vicinity of the courtyard. What the man didn't know was that the other servant was also about to invite him in and that servant greeted him gently. Then the traveling stranger finally asked: What must I do to wash up and enjoy this wonderful feast. And the servant, who was about to invite him in anyway requardles of his appearance, for he had orders from The Master of the house to invite everyone in, asked him: Do you really want to protake of this great feast offered to everyone for free, and already paid for with a great price by The Master of this house? And the man answered saying to the servant: Yes, of course I do, but I am in no condition to eat, what must I do to wash clean and eat. Then the servant laughed and said: If you must, go inside The Master's house, go in and wash your hands, then come and join us to eat, it is acceptable, but a point of clarity I must make, there is no requirement for anyone to wash clean first, for The Master has posted several invitations throughout, that anyone who wishes to attend His feast may come freely as they are. For He has already paid the heaviest price for the banquet with much to spare, but alas, some would not, for they heard, but were not persuaded for one reason or another, and many thought they were either clean, or too dirty to enter in. The master wants everyone to share in his glorious banquet, but he will not force anyone through the narrow gate, which is open and simple, and leads to fullness of life.

Even a Christian cannot brush aside the worship of Jehovah as God. In Revelation 1:5 the Son of God called himself "Jesus Christ, 'The Faithful Witness.'" When on earth as a man he was a Jew, an Israelite, to whose nation the words of Isaiah 43:10 were written: "'You are my witnesses ' is the utterance of Jehovah, 'even my servant whom I have chosen.'" Jesus demonstrated that he was a faithful and true witness of Jehovah God. His genuine disciples today must be the same kind of witnesses, Jehovah's.

In fact the title "Pontifex Maximus" is the old pagan title for the chief priest of the old Roman religion, which was the priest of Rome. Octavius Augustus was the first emperor to assume this title, thereby merging the religion with the state. Furthermore, the RC Church still makes use of Putti in it's religious imagery, as well as female angels (which are actually modeled after the Roman goddess Victoria).

The verse clearly explains it as a symbol resulting from good conscience towards God.
If there is no repentance and true faith in Jesus, baptism means nothing.

The Bible tells us forbidding to marry is a doctrine of devils, yet all catholic priests are forbidden to marry. What more needs to be said?

@@czeaiter Definition: Idolatry is the worship of a cult image or "idol" as though it were a deity. Mary hold the title "Queen of heaven" in the Catholic church, which has no biblical basis. It is blasphemy. And asking Mary to pray for you is contrary to the word of God. 1 Timothy 2:5.
Idolaters will not inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9

@@NATAR160 Some things are to taken literally, and some aren't; The difference is context. Cannibalism is not a new charge. The earliest of Christians were ridiculed as cannibals for this very reason. If he could feed a multitude of people with just five pieces of bread and two pieces fish, then feeding the whole world with his flesh should be a piece of cake (and the cake bit is not literal).

I don't think Baptists come from Anabaptist. Anabaptist included some weird movements which involved polygamy. That being said, the RC Church has much worse history. Most of this is spot on.

TH-cam is a public platform. Hovind censorships had a long history. Ask the folks at Longview Baptist Church in Texas about why dr dino was asked to leave that church. Hovind was asked to leave every church he worked at.

I am a Believer in Christ. Kent's three divorces and four marriages are contrary to God's Word. God declared in the Bible that HE (God) hates divorce. Does hovind hates what God hates.
Well, their excuse is that Matthew 13 could be talking about his step-brothers or cousins. I don't buy it but that's what they say. A better verse is Matthew 1:25, it says the marriage wasn't consummated until Jesus was born. Their answer to this is that "until" is taken in perpetuity, but that is of course dumb because you would have to take the condition of the until into perpetuity as well, which would mean that Jesus has yet to be born. If Mary's virginity was so important, then at least one author would have mentioned it. There is literally no reason to keep this obfuscated.

@@srastfast They did not, Matthew wrote it clearly in 1:25, they didn't consummate the marriage UNTIL Jesus was born. Also what do you mean an act of kindness? John would be busy preaching or hiding from persecution, there is no way for him to take care of her. He just said those things so that she wouldn't grieve for him at that moment. Besides, sex within marriage is not a sin, its only a sin outside of it so idk why you Catholics(and orthodox) are so hung up on her being perpetual virgin. She was a great woman no doubt, but why do you guys want to make her out to be something she isn't is beyond me.
Popes are Not Biblical, nor is the Majority of the rest of the Catholic Dogma surrounding the Bible. 😂

Sola Scriptura is an unbiblical tradition of men. Read the Church Fathers. Study actual history, not the biased, ridiculous anti-Catholic historical inaccuracies in this video. Read the New Testament. Ask yourself if Jesus threw a Bible to the disciples and said "this is all you need, figure it out," or if he left them with a visible leadership structure to act as a teaching authority.
If you have the "just me and my Bible" attitude, you are functioning as a little Pope unto yourself, claiming for yourself the authority to properly interpret Holy Scripture. And you can't use the "I'm led by the Holy Spirit" response. If that is the case, then why are so many Protestants in disagreement? Are you the ONLY one led by the Spirit?
Brothers, come home to the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. End the protesting, end the division.
Pope Kent just said to read a comic book to “really study the history” of Islam… it doesn’t give me much hope that his followers will do an actual study of Church history.

An objective history lesson about the Catholic church, it's opression, tyranny and false teachings are enough to understand it can not possibly be the Church of Jesus.
The true church is the body of Christ, meaning all those who believe upon him, ABIDE in him, and doing what he instructs us to do! Christ is the head of the church.

You should study your Bible with a spirit willing to learn, not like an angry Protestant looking for proof-texts against Jesus’ Church.
