In Buddha's Noble Eight fold path there isn't any standalone Samatha/Shamatha (Concentration) meditation or Vipassana (Insight) meditation but rather combining the two qualities during meditations like Anapanasati (Breath awareness) or Loving Kindness meditation...etc.
