@@DimitrisPao92 We do the same thing with the M. Night Shyamamalama adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender, so why not? I would go further to say, however, that all characters were butchered horribly.
22:05 I've heard different interpretations of what has been said since it was first announced (even before John Cho had the accident that delayed production) but I think it falls more on the side of "alternate universe" because they re-hash some things.
Throughout the show you will gather more pieces of the backstory for each character. You still won't get the whole picture, but the journey is trying to figure everything out.
The live action series is a reimagining of the original series, not a continuation. But they’re planning on making more than one season so we’ll just have to see.
@@Kamn_exe That sucks, but maybe if Faye didn't keep egging on the fanbase we probably would have seen more. Jet was good and Spike's actor was aware of the flaws.
Spike was dead all along. His story is of a soul in Purgatory trying to find its way free. There are clues everywhere in the series. Ace of spades is the death card. The movie all but confirms it.
@@kyuujinreacts Both are really poetic portrayals of "life flashing before your eyes", but with the difference that Mugen refuses to die, while Spike, well, survives. With all the situations he puts himself into, looks like he doesn't really care if he passes away.
Spoiler/Analysis Spike was wanted for leadership of the Red Dragon Syndicate, he wanted Julia. Vicious had Julia, but wants to be leader of the Red Dragon. Spike's ship Swordfish is a "Red Dragon". I love the symbolism here.
It's not often - nearly never - that the English version improves upon the scripted dialogue - but this show is that instance (unless the subtitles themselves were poorly translated even by the studio).
I mean...calling her tone-deaf isn't that different from saying she's singing off key 😅 I would even say the former sounds a bit more rude/insult like xD
@@kyuujinreacts that’s all well and good but the dub for this specific show is universally considered better in the dub and that includes the original creator saying so. love the you sing off key part
Vicious... Love him here, but I'm still scarred from how they changed him in the live action.
Yeah the live action "Vicious" is an embarrassment
How about it? We´ll just pretend that the live action never happened? Sound good?

Those are the best journeys ;)

I was told it was an In between-qual but no, it is a remake.
I've been waiting for a upload let's go

Put a kibosh on that chief.
@@highlandave8507 Now we'll never see Syndicate Julia vs Fearless and Vicious, oh no!

Reminds you of the Obukuri Euumi scene from Samurai Champloo, doesn't it?
Different songs, but the feelings behind the scenes are both pretty intense ;)

no dub?? wtf
We like watching shows in their original language n.n
i too ship Faye and Spike
This show is different in sub dub and LA, I still prefer the english dub, Steve, Beau and Wendee were perfection.
you sing off key:)

Ewww subbed?? The only way to watch bebop is dubbed even the original director agrees
We've been enjoying the original voice acting quite a bit, actually 🤷 we prefer to watch shows in the original language it was written/acted in
