Tip for clean the bottles, I was taught to use "Bugie Grit" found in pets stores. It is finely ground clam shell that parrakeets eat for the calcium. Pour some into a bottle with water and shake vigorously until it is cleaned of stains. You can repurpose the grit by pouring the liquid off as the grit settles to the bottom and then pour the grit and any remaining water into the next bottle to be cleaned. Top off with water and clean.

I tried using those maps for my area of Michigan, but the local towns were not big enough to be covered. It was exciting to see the treasures you all were finding. Could that metal thing be an old ash tray?

Hello from Cairo Ga. I love your videos. And for Bree I'm those r pearl clams. I have a giant foot tub full of them. I make chimes and they make beautidul ones. Kyle! I have found a spot that has crystal s and no1 but me and my husband know about it. Think of you everytime we go rock hounding. After a good rain and a few days ,2 dry up, they shine like diamonds on top of the dirt. Locely, beautiful rocks. Also has agte,onyx and looks like calsedney. Might not have spelt that rite but you know what Im talking about. Love to go bottle , rock and shell hunting. Love the finds. I pray you guys stay safe and thanks for the adventures. This has to be won of my favorite bottle hunt videos so far. So many amazing bottles. I live a hour away from Lowell Mass. where one of those bottles was from so cool. Do you guys empty the corked bottles or keep them sealed?
I typically like to take the cork out and get them clean! But the shoe polish I found has the cork and still has shoe polish so I think I'll keep that one the way it is!
Great assortment of finds! Kyle the large clear bottle that hand a swirl pattern on the upper half and was missing part of the bottom, I'm pretty sure was a Jack Daniels whisky bottle. A great addition to a collector. If it was embossed Jack Daniels in perfect shape would be worth a lot. I love that it was Brie that found the intact rocks. They make an awesome display piece empty or with a potted plant placed inside. I know of a lot of collectors who keep that type of crock even cracked or with a chip in the rim. The simply use it as a planter and the leaves of the plant hides the deformities. I do have to say, that I will never snorkel in an area where there was a dump. There were no regulations 100 years ago and everything from dead animals, batteries, esp. The big car batteries, and every toxic chemical known to man is seeping into this waters. I am surprised to see a turtle there, but then again aquatic animals, fish adapt to their environments. At least most of your body is covered and you are wearing leather gloves. I use a modified grabber when I walk rivers and streams I modified it to have a 6-ft reach and I wear waders most often. But, I recognize it is an individuals choice. You took some good under water footage too!!
