Those cool embossed bottles with no tops can be made into a nice set of drinking glasses with a bottle cutter.
Dating and aging myself by seeing that Cricks conditions made me think of an old commercial with a Native American man standing looking at all the litter with a tear running down his face.
I remember that commercial very well!

I work with stained glass and was thinking, those old rectangle shaped embossed bottles that are broken, I would love to try and take the ones that have enough of the front embossed piece to cut out and use them to make a collage of how ever many. There are so many different colors and it sure would beat just throwing the bottle out. What do you all think? Sound like something neat or crazy?🤔

24:23 "Torpedo Bottles" are also referred to as 'Skittle Bottles' (as they resemble the Skittle Pins..a game similar to Bowling).
People buy and sell the embossed broken bottles for mosaics and stain glass projects also the uranium glass is valuable broken. They grind it to powder and put in paint.

Do you ever get snake bitten
Glass and pottery shards don't bother me so much as plastics and straight up appliances. Glass and ceramics are at least a natural material that can be broken down by natural means back into that natural form without too much effort, but all those tires. Yeesh.
What do you do with all the things you don't keep? do you take out a load of trash with you? It is sad to see how much garbage is just left in the rivers and streams.
We take as much as we can fit out! It never really even puts a dent in some places unfortunately. But we gotta try!

If I put them on the bank they'll end up back in the next flood 😭 and if anyone is walking around it's more likely they would be on the bank than in the creek. There's really not a good strategy for cleaning creeks like this that are completely overridden with trash. I clean up a little at a time and that's the best we can do. :(
