But jabh apni value 120% ho gayi toh dekho expenditure toh 82.5% hua naah toh ise joh bhi hoga remaining that would be the saving . Don't assume on the previous one . Try to make through out the process. Remember they never provide us the SAVING value but they have given us the value for EXPENDITURE . 75 so please calculate using this term

Because 1/4 is 25%,so we can reciprocate it and write it as 1/25= 4%,and now as the question says 12%, we'd multiply 4%×3 which is = 1/25×3,hence 3/25=12%

After incriment in salary 120 Exp will be increased by 10% 75×10%=7.5 then add in 75 old exp it will become 82.5 your new exp Then new saving will be 82.5-120= 37.5
Sir in ques no 17 when you converted 4% into 12% you multiplied it by 3 on the RHS but on LHS why did you only multiplied the numerator and didn't multiply it in both numerator and denominator
it is basic rule that if you multiply any whole number with fraction, the denominator doesn't get multiplied with the number,:> we only multiply numerator with the number.
