Hello! Im a student of delhi university and I'm currently in my 3rd year. In 10th i got 89%, in 12th 86% and in grad i think ill be getting around 7.5 cgpa. I'm a national level Taekwondo player and I've recently won first prize in an international Conference. I've also done freelancing in content writing and i have an internship certificate in content writing from a digital marketing agency. In my first year i was my department's social media abd public relations head and also the class representative of my batch. Is my profile strong enough for iims or any other top college?

This video is pretty misleading. Most Indian colleges accept GMAT only for their 1 year Executive MBAs. And applying for Ex MBA requires a minimum of 5 years of work ex, with the exceptions of IIMA (4 years), ISB (2 years), and SPJIMR PGPM(3 years). You have not mentioned this anywhere in your video.
And even though GMAT has a score validity of 5 years, most top colleges do not tend to view scores older than 2 years kindly. The older the score, the lesser the weightage.
Lastly, the GMAT is not as easy as you make it sound. Mainly because it is not a test of Math or English. It is a test of logic. The traps set in the quant section make it pretty different from CAT's quant. And the Verbal section requires one to identify subtle leaps in logic. The exam requires dedicated preparation, some coaching, and probably a different mindset from the CAT exam.
You are correct about the percentile though. Today, 710 on the classic GMAT is a 90 percentile score.

Bro, GMAT score is valid for 5 years. Even if someone is a fresher and gives GMAT,he/she can gain work experience of 2-3 years and the GMAT score will still be valid.

Sir, I'm a subscriber of yours from Kolkata. I want to know, is it gainful doing an MBA by spending 4-9Lacs from an average B-school ? As you mentioned in your previous videos that these colleges do not provide good roles initially. You've mentioned again in this video that an ideal fee of a good MBA college should be in between 20 lakhs.
MBA is definitely worth it from top 50/60 b schools. Anything later than that, you will have to work hard but you can definitely make a good career from any MBA college. An mba college will only give you your first job.

SIR,your channel name is IIM guy. the reason why u have so many followers is because of your hardworking but Also cuz u have the IIM tag I mean it did help you out. yes the colleges through GMAT are great and some are on par with IIM's but still IIM is IIM. in future if anybody wants to do side hustle of stand up, TH-cam tags like IIM, IIT and if from a foreign university they help a lot.

Don’t aim to get an admission to top IIMs leveraging your cast.. competitions are cut throat, even if you get a seat their due to quota chances are bleak that you would be able to survive there and bag a good job…pvt companies do not have quota so you would face immense heat from competitors even after going into a good pvt job, which cast students are generally not accustomed to throughout their lives..so aim for govt job where your entire career path would be protected by cast tag..🙏🏻

Please do not de-motivate the aspirants sir. I myself am an aspirant and looking forward to appear in CAT 24 as I couldn''t score well in 23. GMAT is not very beneficial for fresh graduates or for people with less work experience. There is a reason why CAT is the universal exam for MBA in India. It will be better if you come up with more videos of how non-engineers can score better or strategies for doing better. Thank you!

If you want to go to IIMS then you don't need work experience but if you want to go abroad then work experience is a must
