The eRay is 160HP up front, not 100HP. As for the ZR1, it will be 840HP, then the Zora will add the same hybrid system to bring it to an even AWD 1000HP...
Oddly enough... a 'human' SPRINTER can have similar considerations... or a football wide receiver...
As they add muscles and power, they are also adding weight... soon you have a running back that has power to break thru the Defense (such as a Herschel Walker) but has become a bigger Target and is hauling 250 pounds of body weight...
Have you read about the future Ferrari 250 to combat the Zora---maybe for a mere $2,000,000. HHmmmmm----maybe a $250,000 ZORA will become a true WORLD CLASS SUPER CAR and at a SUPER value! I have had a brand new red Viper (yes--red with the yellow calipers) , a new red ZO6 a while back and a Lamborghini Murcielago and a red Posrche Turbo S for 2 years and sold it in 2021 for a brand new white, yes white Plaid---I never thought the Porsche would be topped---but the PLAID is an INSANE car in every respect. I bought the Plaid in white because I wanted to "blend in". When you leave every stoplight like a Rocket Ship I guess you cease to blend in!!!!!!!!! Now to the future-----I am on a "special list" for a low serial number ZORA---and cannot believe how excited I am for this future Super Car. I loved your video!!! Great analysis!!!!! Yes, from the knowledge we have so far, it is different from the ZR1. The ZR1 will likely follow the forced induction route from the prior generations. The ZORA will likely bring this car and the ZR1 together.
They make these available to children on yt but good luck trying to order one

Time to start speculating on ZORA spec's! My guess on the horse power is 1324. 1164 plus 160 from electric motors. Just remember how we ALL guessed way low on the ZR1.
I won’t be buying one so I doubt Chevy cares about people outside of their intended audience, but I hope whatever the pinnacle model is called that it’s the lightest version yet.
GM could go with an all-Carbon Fiber body, but the price would probably be astronomical. Love your video! Save the Wave.🙋♂
I believe that Zora deserves a spare-no-expense send off. The proper tribute would be the make the very best Corvette possible.

Zora is supposed to have twice the hp upfront from the electric motor(s?) plus the flat plane 670hp Z06 engine possibly turbo'd which should put it around 1000 hp.

Y chassis cars are the cream of the crop in the sports car world regardless of price folks. You simply didnt listen or understand what GM engineers did to design these cars. Even the Stingray has the advantage over Porsche because of its chassis. There is no other brand giving you this level of engineering at triple the price because they wont give you race car chassis cars for the road. The ZORA will be no different.
With reports of Porsche announcing a new hybridized 911 by the end of the month, it looks like we might have an E-Ray competitor from Porsche sooner or later. Something like a hybridized Carrera 4 GTS could be pretty interesting.
Does anyone realize that the C8 e-ray is 950 pounds heavier than a C5 Z06?

You’re driving the ZR1, not the Zora right?
ZR1 will be a cross plane (Caddy GTP style (4 cam)) with turbos and electric driven front wheels. Hopefully more CF and magnesium/titanium pieces so fatty will not be 4,000lbs +.
Yes, more carbon fiber and lightweight materials are critical. When factoring in the motor design we likely will see, it sure will keep the Z06 as a special car down the road. There's nothing like a FPC V8!
I can't wait for another Vette! Hopefully they can apply some of this new 4 wheel drive features to a version of the base model which I prefer to the Z06/Eray. A cleaner look I find!
The base model is such a great car for the money. I think AWD would be great for it, however, there's no space for a front drivetrain unit other than the single e-motor placed in the E-Ray. So, I don't really think we'd see anything like this for a standard Corvette. I'm with you though, it would be great!

No, you'll feel cool, and I love my Z06. The thing is, though, that nothing material can truly satisfy you. That's why you see so many famous people having mental health problems. To me, you need God to be truly happy and live with purpose.
