A year ago a UK rep for ARRI was at a film equipment exhibition in London and invited me to the ARRI's UK headquarters to try out the Trinity! I have a Steadicam and have been a cameraman for a million years so that's why he invited me (he doesn't invite non Steadicam owners; the price of the whole rig, camera, lens is over $130,000!!) I'm obviously not a rookie so I thought it would be piece of cake operating this gear! WRONGl!! It is very different to the Steadicam, you have to hold it differently, it's a different beast!. I had about 3 hours of operating all together and got it in the end. Once COVID's behind us, I'll try it again.
