What a compilation! Osipova and Vasiliev were creating history in their Bolshoi years. I remembered this diagonal from Osipova with the double pique turns, so nice to see it again. Vasiliev's jumps, his chaine turns... just wow! Shipulina's diagonal... perfection! This ballerina has been so underrated... And what can I say about young Alexandrova.... was she really going faster than the orchestra in her fouettes? Now I have seen everything 😂Thank you, thank you BunduBallerina!

Fantastic compilation. Showing the maestry of ballet skill with joy of performance. I have soft spot for Osipova - there's just something about her carriage, expression that reaches beyond skill required for any role. She just illuminates any stage with her fierce attack and dynamism. And Vasiliev, my absolute favourite. I just never know whether to fear or be excited watching him hehe - the wildness, spacious quality of his moves is out of this world. That last part with him doing turns in series - I got dizzy from just watching! That ending sequence with Aleksandrova's fouettes, Vasiliev's turns and Ovcharenko's part really makes a case for ballet stars being aliens, just incredible skills.
That looks extraordinary. This is how I learn ballet, simply by watching yours and other ballet videos. This video gives me inspiration and a good general idea of how to do simple ballet poses.

Class Concert by Asaf Messerer used music by Shostakovich, Glazunov, Rubinstein and Lyadov. I don't know where you can find the scores of these composers. I hope someone else can help you.
Class Concert was choreographed by Asaf Messerer who originally trained as a dancer at the Bolshoi Academy during Soviet times. Class Concert is a short ballet, but much longer than these 4 minutes shown here :) It was not made for a specific gala. Thanks for your interest.
