Houdini Tips - Procedural Bevel - Method 2

  • A simpler method on how to proceduraly bevel edges using only bevel node with “Ignore Flat Edges” turned on to skip certain edges based on edge angle. This method gives you a little bit less control over beveled edges but is faster and easier.

    Nice work but it would be much better for people learning Houdini if you selected more than just 2 nodes. That way we can see how you set up the rest. Otherwise, it can be tricky getting it to work the same. Thanks anyway.

      @@Houdini123im trying to make it that when 2 objects near eachother and create a flat surface that the chamfer doesnt stick out plus that excessive vertices are welded and the whole mash is clean and ready for bake

      @@davidtikwa1557 Ok, I will see what I can do. But the focus will be on procedural bevel. I might tackle other problems you mentioned in a separate tutorial.
