Hey Craig! If you want to see a tour of that Dredge in Chicken you should go watch Finding our Someday! They just did a tour of it on their video last week! Safe travels!
The gifts were good guys gave me the chuckles. I guess Summer has gone down the tubes and getting cooler, good time to head south. Really enjoyed your Alaska adventure. Good luck with the travelling back, boy that’s a lot of miles but the scenery will be breathtaking. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
In 1997, my parents (65 & 71) took their truck camper from Western NC and drove to Alaska and back and they did the Top of the World highway back then! We've wanted to go ever since. So happy you got to go!
The Morryde heavy duty shackle+wet bolt kit is the cheapest and best upgrade you can do for your trailer. It solved a major tire wear issue with our trailer that was caused by the cheap plastic bushings that wore out in a year and chewed the shackles and bolts up. We caught it due to the unusual tire wear before our shackle broke, but the holes had already started to elongate and were close to breaking. All this with less than 4 years of RVing.
As far as the gifts go guys, each of you wear one bear slipper, and each wear one Leland sock! Then you can have an honest review. LOL The knife is a great gift to remember your trip, so I'm just Switzerland here. Stay safe, have fun, blessings!
You both win because you have each other and your love is something special. I throughly enjoy your channel. BTW, I lived in christmas Florida for many many many years
You two are so funny! I love watching your videos and have especially enjoyed your Alaska adventure! By the way, I love the scripture you post at the end of your videos! ❤
Good point on suspension checks. Was greasing wheel bearings in preparation for our Alaska trip and noticed my shackle straps had bolt holes so rounded out that only a thin strip of steel left and would have surely broken on those rough Alaska roads. I got heavy duty shackle straps and wet bolts directly from Moryde because it was before e-trailer.
A stop at Santa's is definitely recommended and is their NORTHPOLE COFFEE. ALSO have Santa himself send a personalized Christmas letter to someone you love. Nice, nephew, childre, grand children, or just friends who love Christmas. The letter comes a week before Christmas from and stamped the North Pole alsaka. My grandson talked about that for months afterward, such a special gift. Yes it is a bit expensive. But worth every cent when you watch them open that letter. The worst part of the Top of The Road Highway is the American side it is much smoother from the border to Dawson City. It can snow in Sept and the top of the world customs CLOSES SEPT 1. CHEERS AND SAFE TRAVELS. Steve h
If you want to make healthy rice. High protein rice 2 cups of bone broth.Don't matter if it's beef or chicken. But use 2 cups of Bone broth to one cup of rice. You'll get a high protein rice.
Anyone in the world can write a Santa letter to the Candian postal code H0H 0H0 and Santa’s helpers will return a letter back. Do one each with the kids.
Picked up our Z3100 August 18th. Had our shakedown trip last weekend. Was a hoot. Our Springer Spaniel loved it--well not the A/C noise.. You guys coming back through Ontario? Can stay at ours on the river. We're heading to Florida Nov 1, God-willing. Love your videos. Cheers.
Lucky you, forest fires were so bad when we got to Dawson City that visibility was about 1/2 mile and smoke making it hard to breathe so backtracked to Whitehorse instead of going to Chicken.
definitely pretty remote for sure. Definitely want to be sure (as you did) that your equipment is in good shape. Not great roads, but I guess one just needs to take their time and be safe. Continued safe travels....
Gifts were a tie. Both were thoughtful. Craig thought to settle the score with the bear slippers. Victoria thought practical (knife) and sentimental (doggie socks).
The gifts were good ideas, of course the real winner is that store as it would sell a lot of stuff at all times of the year ( spring through fall anyway during the tourist season ) that no one really needs !. I took a walk through it and bought nothing, then again I never bought anything in Homer either. Glad to see your going over the top of the world highway and can experience Dawson City. I know at the time I went on that road it was said that full sized tour buses did go through there and would be a real delight when it rains on all of the gravel sections. I was in the Alaska bound direction and stopped at Chicken in the morning but didn't see any life around there and not sure if the store was open yet and the bar would not have been so I missed out on that scene.
Craig wins....lol great knives to buy that want break the bank is Gerber knives. Ka-Bar is one of the best knives to own, in my opinion. Great video guys
I'm a fairly new subscriber, and when I heard you say your sister was in NC, it reminded me that I had wondered if you grew up in NC? I'm a Southern California girl, but my momma is from Kannapolis, NC. Your accent sounds just like my momma's family... Hope you had a safe drive back! I've enjoyed this Alaska trip!
If your return trip takes you through Watson Lake, again, the story behind the Sign Post Forest began during the construction of the Alcan Hwy. It started with a job task to put a direction sign, and workers began posting plates from their home states. The forest grew from that (and that is my story, hope it's true). Even if it's not the real story, sure sound good. If you happen to stop, go through the main arch and then turn about 45 drgrees to the right. There is a large sign that say's Coos Bay (Oregon) I put the plate off my car from Washington and left it there (WASHUGAL). That is the city my kids grew up in (Washougal Washington). The gas station to the East of the forest let me barrow a hammer and gave my some nails, since I didn't have any tools. WOW!!! I just look how long my "comment" is...sorry
The store clerk thinks Craig's one one of those Furries 🤣 Victoria should take a picture of Craig in the Big Foot slippers with the Salmon hat in his mouth! 😂
Good morning y’all. My mom is getting Alzheimer’s and just so happen she watched this video with me. She has been bugging me and asking for the last 3-4 months when we are putting up our Christmas tree 🎄. I have to keep reminding her. Thanks for the Christmas video she enjoyed it. Be careful out there 👍
I'm so excited to see more of Maverick, but where's little Leland? How old are they and have you had them since they were puppies? Sorry I'm more interested in the pups than people! Just kidding! I'd love to know the dates of when you were where in AK. It helps those of us wanting to go to AK know when to plan for on getting best weather, etc. What date did you exit Alaska? It's been a great trip "with" you. I'm in NC so really interested in your route home in both time and which way. Best of luck to your sister and her new baby! Congratulations Auntie & Uncle!
Craig won because he got Victoria the same thing she wanted to get him. Victoria won because she gave Craig the better gift, and she's gonna use her bear feet slippers. You both win!😂
Victoria got Craig the best gift.
Love your videos!!!
Got to go with Craig on this one. The bear feet win!!! Maverick and Leeland would love to play with the bear feet as well!!!😂🐕

Good luck on a safe ride home. Victoria wins usable gift but the bear slippers are the most fun even better than the fish hat. Safe travels
Victoria won hands down but Craig deserved some gift revenge 😊
Chicken, Alaska? Never heard of it but it is so funny! Makes me want to go... LOL A trip to the North Pole would definately be a must!!!
Both gifts are the best but Craig I will give you the best... you guys both win😊
I’m so thrilled, my comment made it in the video 🤩 my hubby says Craig wins and I say Victoria wins so it’s a tie!
4:12 Ranch dressing ornament is the best one. Who wouldn't want that 🙄
As far as the gifts go guys, each of you wear one bear slipper, and each wear one Leland sock! Then you can have an honest review. LOL The knife is a great gift to remember your trip, so I'm just Switzerland here. Stay safe, have fun, blessings!
Tons of miles ahead. Wishing you safe travels 👍👍👍
The Bear slippers But both gifts are great
Craig said to say he won. But I can’t. I thing both gave the perfect gift. I would so love those warm house slippers.
I think you both won. I love the bear feet, I love the pocket knife and the socks are awesome 😎👍!

I throughly enjoy your channel.
BTW, I lived in christmas Florida for many many many years
Victoria, hands down! I love those slippers!
Chicken, Alaska? Never woulda guessed it!🐓
The bear slippers WIN!
The gifts were a tie. Craig's sentimental and Victoria's very useful! Is the diet slipping away 😅
Thank you for sharing your adventures
Another great video!! You know each other so well, so I think both gifts were a win!!
You two are so funny! I love watching your videos and have especially enjoyed your Alaska adventure! By the way, I love the scripture you post at the end of your videos! ❤

Haha Santa Clausville first time I heard that. I love you did North Pole and Chicken!
Season 6 in the TV Series of gold rush Tony Beets gets a 75 year old dredge operational on his claim, if you’re interested. It’s huge and complex.
Craig won for sure! Those slippers are awesome.
Fun video, good luck on your trip back to the states. You two have so much fun!!!
You guys can share the Bear slippers but we have to have pictures. Ill call the gift thing a tie. You both were excited about what you received

I think Craig won! Those are adorable slippers!
Chicken, AK

Love the bear feet!!! I have the bunny slippers from A Christmas Story!
Anyone in the world can write a Santa letter to the Candian postal code H0H 0H0 and Santa’s helpers will return a letter back. Do one each with the kids.
Ptarmigan. We live on Ptarmingan Street in Hayden, ID about 20+ years ago. This is the first time I needed that knowledge. 😂
We finally got a Morryde IS and its a game changer for sure.
Ptarmigan is the spelling! Another wonderful video. I think Victoria won for the Leland socks💛
The bear feet slippers; for the win!
Can’t believe that you didn’t even mention the beginning of the Alaskan Highway “Delta Junction”. My old home!
I think Maverick and Leeland both win with those gifts!
Hurry back to Hickory so you two can tell me all about this. George @ Hickory Tavern! Be safe!
Cheers.
😅 I love both gifts! In my eyes, you both won ❤❤
I like the knife best.
If you ever watch "Gold Rush Alaska", you'll know all about the dredge.
those roads look like ours in sudbury ontario - patch on top of patch plus a good amount of potholes.
We had delicious ptarmigan pizza in Anchorage when we were there years ago.
I am giving the Gift giving award to Victoria. The practical knife and socks beats the Bear feet which are about as useful as the Halibut Hat. ;-)
I use that same sauce that you put on your leftovers. it's great !
Gifts were a tie. Both were thoughtful. Craig thought to settle the score with the bear slippers. Victoria thought practical (knife) and sentimental (doggie socks).
Laughed a little too hard at Craig's expression on getting laid... I spelled Ptarmigan correctly!
I thought they both were awesome gifts!
It’s Chicken! AK
Gee, no wonder Craig's toes are cold...get some shoes on boy!😂
Craig was probably wearing his Florida winter season sandals too !
Don't know how up to date you are, but we'll be driving down the Oregon coast on Tuesday from Seaside to Florence.....I'll wave if I see you!
Ptarmigans. Another great video.
You both chose wisely.
Craig WON! Bears Feet Slippers for the WIN! LOL:)
Ptarmigan - a norther grouse of mountainous and Arctic regions with feathered legs and feet adn plumage that typically changes to white in winter
The gifts were good ideas, of course the real winner is that store as it would sell a lot of stuff at all times of the year ( spring through fall anyway during the tourist season ) that no one really needs !. Before Starlink, those little towns in the middle of nowhere were rough. Heard that Connecten internet works good as well.
Ptarmigan. A game bird that looks kinda like a chicken. Member of the goose family. Official game bird of Newfoundland, I think.
Viktoria won! Good gift for a guy
Craig won! Be safe!
There is a dredge in Dawson City that we took a tour of. Tony Beets on the Discovery Channel program Gold Rush owns one and has shown it operating.
We got away with postcards and a picture with Santa!
Show
The
Pocket
Knife
Craig wins....lol great knives to buy that want break the bank is Gerber knives. Ka-Bar is one of the best knives to own, in my opinion. Great video guys

I have figured out where Leeland's name came from. The Christian Band Leeland. Love the socks!!!!
The store clerk thinks Craig's one one of those Furries 🤣 Victoria should take a picture of Craig in the Big Foot slippers with the Salmon hat in his mouth! 😂

It would have been hilarious if you gave each other the same gift. 😂
50,000 subscribers coming up by next week!!👍
Craig won because he got Victoria the same thing she wanted to get him. Victoria won because she gave Craig the better gift, and she's gonna use her bear feet slippers. You both win!😂
Exactly!!!! 🔝
We had a shackle break last year. Drove over 200 miles to get to Ft Nelson to get it fixed.
Chicken!! Ak!! Been there. Have also been to North Pole.
Tied 110%
