The constant sniping at people was very grating, which is why I haven't watched it much recently.
I don't watch normal Countdown but when I heard she got the job, I immediately thought she was the wrong fit. Robinson always wants to be the centre of it all, the one with the last word and with Countdown that's not the case. It's a three hander (even four) where the emphasis is on the contestants, not the host.
