    Thank you. Thank you, I have a CB500x and have been trying to get in behind the front fairing. Your video is thus far the best info I’ve found.

    Thanks for posting this - it was super helpful getting to the option plug as well as the speedometer/combo meter. My option plug actually only has two wires, but the third blue wire appears to be tucked down further in the vinyl covering (just in case anyone needed it I guess).

    Another example of how the designers and engineers should have to work on the stuff they design....kind of a pain to replace a light or access the accessory plug...thanks for the video.

    Finally did this because I had to replace the turn signals anyways. The "rotating out" part did not work for me, I think It did for you because some latches where already broken ;)
    What did work is putting a prying tool (I used a screwdriver, better use something out of plastik though) into those slots that can be seen around 4:59 and wiggling around.. than the latches popped open.

    AWESOME VIDEO! I'm going to install a LED Headlight for my 2015 Honda CB500F and it was nice to see how to take the headlight faring apart. Thank you for your time my friend and I'm going to need that "luck" you were talking about at the very end. :)

      I sure will. I'm ordering a LED conversion kit this weekend from CycleGear.com. I'll be installing it, hopefully, within the following week. I'll subscribe to your TH-cam channel and check out more of your videos. Thanks again my friend for the videos, and I'm happy to be one of the CB500F riders out on the street. :)

    Thanks for this. It looks pretty tricky compared with accessing the option plug which is under the seat - which I'm using for now.

      @ChrisRaabe oh noh! Have you tried or do you have any idea if those stock bulbs can be upgraded to LED bulbs without any issue?

      @@dexjapitan I never tried but I don't imagine it would be a problem

    Thanks Chris! Can you make a short video with your devices connected? Honda sells a connection kit for the under seat option for $100+. It would be interesting to see what your final fit and finish looks like compared to Honda's.

    SO I took a fall last night and broke my front signal light. lucky for me that was the only thing the break when I went down. Stupid gravel on the road in a turn. BTW I am so sore lol. But it there an easier way for me to connect a newsignal without taking off the whole front fairing?

      Just did the same thing and this video really helped avoid making a bad situation far worse. Who knew about the hidden Aux conector?

    Hi Chris. For the MT090 waterproof crimp connectors, where did you go to get them? Did you go to local Honda store or did you buy them from an online Honda store? If it was an online purchase, where was the website?

    • @ChrisRaabe
      @ChrisRaabe  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I got them at a local auto parts store in Tokyo. I don't think they are particular to Honda. Good luck!

      Chris Raabe next time show the 5 or so boltsnto get the side off. Why did Honda make the turn signals so brittle?
