I swapped the rear signals today with no problem. Then when I swapped the front, I got the hyper signal issue. I bought the part you linked. Is the a possibility the oem relay can only handle two signals? Just curious as to why this was an issue.
I appreciate your effort making this video clip, but there is no technical info about the replaced relay (ie. part number). Also it would be interesting to know how did they alter 4 PIN relay into 2 PIN realy.
Should be the same spot. My service manual covers 2013-2018 CBR500, CB500F/X and says the flasher relay is in the same spot under the fuel tank for all models.

Yep! One relay does it all : slices, diced, and, most importantly, operates all four turn signals. 😀

When you turn the key to the "Off location" while alarm is on, does the turn signal indicators stays on as it should?
Yes. My turn signals work with the key in the 'off' location.
