Really nice clean job and very helpful video. Only thing, I'd change would be to pick up a bag of assorted heat shrink tubes (costs about a dollar at Harbor Freight). They can be cut to size and make a nicer insulating finish than electrical tape. Also worth it to spring for a shorter lightning cable for the phone, but I'm guessing you did that after posting the video. Thanks very much for posting.
I can't believe how easy you made that look.. I can almost guarantee I would have some sort of catastrophic failure if I tried that...😂 And I don't even own the bike yet.. I'm trying to find a dealership that actually has a 2021 CB 500 X... In georgia🇺🇸 great job..👍
...now this is an "installation" video (not like the heated grips video which was very basic). Fantastic steps on how to install...I gotta try it on my CB500FA soon.
Im not familiar with electrical system on this bike. What is that your installing to? I remember on my old cb300f I just installed it to the battery. I want to do it your way since I have a 2013 cb500f, and it looks much easier instead of leading through the tank from the battery , but before that I want to know what it is.
Hmm, install is not the problem. What I'm wondering about is it connected trough it's own rele and/ or is it connected trough ignition (I think so) so it doesn't drain your battery during stops _ engine off. I guess the fuse is 5amps?
Szia. Hi, when the kickstand is down on my CB500F the bike does not start smoothly. When the kickstand is up it starts straight away. I have installed a new kickstand switch but it didn't solved the problem. 2 cables are coming from the switch (green and green-white) and they are going in to a 2 x 24 pin junction box. I thought the contact problem could be there. Do you know where that junction box is?
I’ve used those shitty connectors before and won’t use them anymore if they are exposed to the elements. I highly recommend soldering and heat shrink/wrap. Great vids.
szia! egy navit szeretnék ugyan igy bekötni csak nekem nincs meg ez a vak kábel, viszont ugyan ott megvan a fekete fehér, szerinted arra rá tudok kötni ?
Hi, i like watching your videos and i know you had a CBF 125. Did you have any running problems with the engine? I have a 2012 with 21k km on the clock and im having a problem where on my first start of the engine the engine just stalls. I already did valves at around 19k km and that fixed it but im getting the same problem again. I did them today again since they were again a little over spec but after my first start after the valve clearence adjustment the engine stalled again after like 10 seconds. Did you have this problem or not?
Hi, i know this is an old comment but still. I have a cbf125 (also 2012) myself with 12k km's. I have never encountered this problem, just to let you know

I'm really starting to dig your videos about this bike man, you make everything look so simple and easy! Thanks bro!
Thank you. I did this install on a CB500F from 2018 and it worked perfectly.
I followed your tutorial, and I succeeded ! Thanks
thanks very smart, straight to the point. I understood everything. wish there were more videos like this.
Dude your channel is amazing. Really thank you for all of this!

Like your videos, can you zoom out to see the area of work before getting in on the close ups?
I think at 0:28 it needed a zoom out yes, otherwise it was good

Still in the state of Georgia? I grew up there in Clarkston. Have so much fond memories.
Thank you for this!! Finally someone do something the right way. 👍🏻
Good video. I was just wondering why you didn’t get rid of all that excess wire?
Fully approuved on cb500f 2016

Perfect - i did it the same way after i saw your demo - thx
Very helpful video. Thanks a lot. My CB500F has two black tubed wires not one. Which one is to chose? Or will both work?
Thanks for your video ... the link doesn't show the good charger on BG (yours is 2 usb, the link is only 1)
Thanks for the video I guess this would work on CB500X
Hola , te consulto de donde sacas corriente para el uso, puedo sacar del otro para faros auxiliares. No hay problema de usar esos, cables. Gracias
Sehr informatives Video! Danke sehr.

This is the stock wire to connect a USB charger. This way it won't drain your battery. It works only on ignition.
@@zsinormotors Thank You
Does this work for 2022 model? Thanks for the helpful videos :)

excellent video and just what i was looking for, is the charger you fitted fully waterproof and have you tested it in heavy rain yet?
It can't be waterproof in the rain when in use.

Is it the same procedure for 2019 Honda CB125R ?

Hello there
I have a cb500f 2014
And I need your help please
How can I contact you?
How to know if my suzuki have this accesories install?
szia! egy navit szeretnék ugyan igy bekötni csak nekem nincs meg ez a vak kábel, viszont ugyan ott megvan a fekete fehér, szerinted arra rá tudok kötni ?
Very nice! Do you know how to install it on a CBF 600 SA (PC43)?
Great recording, but it's easier to use the Option connector under the seat.
thanks for your video. I have a CBR 650 F 2017, do I also have this connection under the right fairing? Greetings from Germany
What power fuse did you use, 2A?
Would I have any issues hooking directly to the battery?

Nice! thank you very much
Does it catch the tank on full lock ?
Seems only available on CB500 2016 and later.
True. I was trying to do it on my cb500f 2014 and there is no this wire. To author: could you suggest what to look for?
great video
You should have put the charger head down incase if it rains, water 💦 won't get inside the charger.
A perfect video
What’s your plan if it rains? Will it dry out and be fine or just not to ride in the rain?
Yeah that’s what I said too... I think the answer is installing the cube upside down rather than how it’s depicted.
Maybe that “cap” is semi water right. Maybe if he’s caught in the rain he’s just unable to use the USB’s.
Ian GlynWilliams yeah he could possibly just twist it till it’s upside down.
