Hi, this video isn’t bashing Denise at all, she isn’t the problem, it is about the greater issue of celebrity obsession and lack of creativity in the fashion industry. This shoot is very different to when photographers do a tribute to twiggy or something like that. These pictures are a bad replica of Kate’s David Yurman campaigns, and I hate them retouching Denise’s scars.
@@THEMODELGENEdid you see your video ?? You called her a “washed up druggie in her 50s” what qualifies you exactly to be able to talk in this demeaning way about someone ???
@@THEMODELGENE it would be awesome if you did a video on all the new real up-and-coming supermodels so we can support and share them. PS love this channel.
@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer Thanks Peter! Funny you say that, I'm currently editing a video going in the opposite direction, sharing a story about two models from the 40's. I like jumping back and forth between contemporary issues and historical subjects.
Haha thanks, I’m just a fan of when magazines represent their culture. Vogue Philippines is a prime example of this, they are always featuring their own talent.
i dont want to stop any woman from getting her bag, so i dont have an opinion about this. i think in the warly 200s a lot of models look kinda similar.
You made good points with this video, but bashing someone’s struggles with substance use addiction isn’t okay. We could have just left out the personal insults out of the actual commentary.
That girl had always looked like Kate even when she was young. Even on that picture of her accident she looks like Kate. You sound hateful and this video looks like a personal attack and I feel for you. Do better.
Did you watch the same video? There is nothing I’m saying bad about Denise, but the obsession with 90’s Kate Moss and using a celebrity impersonator for a Vogue editorial, retouching off her scars to look more like Kate, Vogue Arabia’s low standards of quality in this editorial and beyond.
@@THEMODELGENE you called her a counterfeit version, spoke about her appearance like you have no idea that airbrushing editing is a thing in the fashion industry. Every model gets it. Kate has spoken about it herself. So has Linda etc. the way you came at this woman was in extreme poor taste as if you did anything that was of contribution to the industry aside from bitchy gay commentary when you are not a designer a model a photographer or anything.
@@THEMODELGENE magazines retouch EVERYONE and she doesn’t need retouching to look more like Kate. Even in that accident picture you used she looks like Kate. You sound extremely bitter and angry. Why not try and find your own way to do something related to fashion that isn’t bashing people? How can you talk about her or vogue Arabia using that image of Kate moss when you use everyone else’s and their accomplishments to build a channel and make videos?? That’s like the pit calling the kettle black.
@@THEMODELGENE man there is already a lot of bitchy gay white boy commentary online. Maybe pick a lane that’s different? Just sain. You don’t add anything particularly interesting or that has not done before to demand others do that. Look inward first hunny.
The Kate Moss impersonator is actually a really lovely woman. I don't think this video is fair.

Here here, where are the new supermodels not the daughters of famous people?
They exist, they are just not getting the support they deserve because of this nepotism and fame obsession.

@@THEMODELGENE I cant wait
Another spicy take on the laziness of magazines and fashion industries to create the lore of the 70's 80's 90's super models' fame.
Your last line was a killer blow 😮😂
Maybe I'm wrong and Kate Moss is short for Kate Mosque
Who are you ?! Vogue Arabia should hire you ! You're 💯 right ! That's refreshing. Nepotism is killing everything.

It's the fashion equivalent of hiring one of those 'celebrity lookalikes' for someone's birthday party... Cheesy and tacky to the extreme.
Agreed, such a weird move for the magazine
What the... 🤣
It is a bad look for the magazine, bad look for the photographer Bartek Szmigulski
Well said!!!
thanks!

2:01 Truth, truth, truth❤
Everything i been thinking about the moss clan. Couldn’t agree more. 😬🙏🏻
Thank you!
What do you think about Vogue Africa?
She is really pretty, but she is her and NOT Kate Moss!
Yes it’s nothing against her, just the whole scenario is weird
