So glad I found your video - you've convinced me to try Color Oops. I'm a natural blonde who went "Soft Black" for the first time today. Never dyed, only highlighted in the past. I hope Color Oops will get me back to some semblance of my real hair. Trying it tomorrow. Thanks again!

When I was using different brands of hair color that was making my hair look dull and weighed down, I would use this every 3 or 4 months, it's safe for your hair and I find it to be the best product out there, I've been using this for years, it's so great to see someone agrees that it works amazing, thank you for sharing 😍

thank you for bringing me down to earth on this one. I was so disappointed two sessions into pravana color extractor seeing my previous bleached level 7 then having it reoxidizing to a level 4. so frustrating! but I have to remember I've puts semi Demi and possibly permanent (salon lied to me) on my hair for like.. a whole year. I appreciate you and this video thank you

I just used the Color Oops tonight to remove a nutmeg semi-permanent rinse by KISS. I’ve been using this color to cover my gray hairs for years. I thought that it didn’t work but after watching your video, I do understand that one application will not be enough, so thank you! I will do another application and continue to use a moisturizing shampoo and add the dish detergent or lemon as well to help aid in removal process. Because my hair felt dry but not hard , I also did a deep conditioning treatment.

Thank you for all of the tips! I used color oops on my black hair but i put coconut oil on because some lady said it'd keep it from drying out. Turns out it blocked the product from lifting my hair to my natural blonde. I'm going to use a second box and i was wondering how long I should wait after the first box to do the second? Thank you so much in advance!

I've seen some people use this for blue hair and it's taken all the color out but many people complain that the color starts to come back? Do you think an immediate color dye after the coloroops will prevent that? My hair was supposed to be gray and purple but he ran out of dye so he added a little blue...but now my whole head is blue. Desperate to get rid of it, my hair will not handle another bleach.

I've been dying my roots at home and then at the salon for years and years to cover my grey... but now I'm letting my grey grow out... would Color Oops help speed things along and not have to deal with this demarcation line? I'm only 9 weeks into my grow out. My hair is dark brown and cut in a bob, so it's not long. Will the conditioning Color Oops work or do I need the extra strength? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Some say they put coconut oil in their hair and then the Color Oops to help with some of the dryness ? What do you know or think about any idea like this? Idk if you'll see this but what do you suggest would help the best with mine? Trying to go back to my natural and color oops worked before made it go right back actually because I had a dark brown over it. Since then I bleached it blonde (by salon and they made it gold at ends and white blonde at top) and dyed it the goldish to make it look good then ended up dying purple over it after like a couple months and black over that when it faded a month later. It's been black now for about 5 months now havent redyed I've been stripping it with shampoo. Going to try a box of color oops and hope. (I have pretty short and thin hair as well) planning on getting it light enough to dye the ash blonde over at some point to match my roots

Where can I get this Box?

Hello. I'm researching the whole color oops thing because I'm trying to get back to my natural hair color (regular 1B brown hair).
So, I used an Creme of Nature box dye because I wanted my hair to be a light brown sandy color. But, it didn't really fit my face so I basically bleached my hair and then put a brown over top to get back to my natural hair color but it took so dark and now my hair is really dark, with some hints of that light brown sandy color still. It basically looks a mess. Do you think color oops will take me back to my natural hair color or will my hair looked bleached? This whole coloring process took place in the course of like 2 days and that was only about 3 weeks ago.

It will go back to bleached because the bleach stripped your natural colour away.

I have gray hair and I dyed my hair black. I hate the black. It's too harsh for my skin tone. I only have one layer of dye on my hair. Would Color Oops bring back my gray hair? I actually liked my gray hair better than the dyed black.

I have a medium brown and or a dark brown in my hair as my roots which is like my natural hair color. But for the past year, I have been dying it a Medium/Dark Auburn color. I am trying to go back to my natural hair color. Was wondering if I should use color oops. Also to when I dye my hair, I usually get 2 boxes if it. Was wondering if I need more than 1 box of color oops?
    Thanks
    Please write back 🙂

Color oops isn't for stains. It will only take on permanent and semi-permanent and manic panic is just a stain

    Hello!
So I watched this video because I was looking to find out more abut Color Oops. I used my first box almost 24 hours ago on black hair and the result was a copper colored top, still dark middle (but it did lighten a little) and dark reddish brown ends. I plan on going back and buying two more boxes of Color oops for the middle, since I do understand why it didn't change as drastically as the top (top only went through one dye session). I want to dye my hair a reddish brown or dark auburn color, and I know the hair will be porous after using Color Oops. I was wondering, how long will I have to wait until I can use the actual box of dark auburn (not do like crazy things such as look for a lighter color, go ashy brown, this and that as I will ruin it that way lol I'm not good at determining that sort of stuff), and also I rinsed some with cold water after the whole 30 minute rinse session was complete. If I continue to rinse my hair in cold water afterwards, would that also help with bringing the pores back to their normal size, and possibly allow me to use actual dark auburn dye, and again if so how long would I have to wait to use that dye? Sorry, it's just I wanted to think this through really well. If there is any way you can help, that would be great!

when you buy the extra color oops make sure to focus it on the darker parts of the hair first and then run it through the ends and all over your hair. my hair did the same thing with the 1st box cus there is more layers of color in that area of my hair. color oops says you can dye your hair right after but like i said in the video id wait about a week depending on the condition your hair is after the color oops. rinsing with cold water afterwards seals back your cuticle but it doesnt necessarily prevent the hair from being dry so condition and then rinse with cold water and use a towel so squeeze the water out instead of rubbing your head to towel dry it cus it just raises the cuticle again and causes split ends + breakage. i wouldnt tell you to look for a lighter color but i do recommend NOT buying a box dye because it defeats the purpose of causing less damage to your hair and in the even that you dont want the auburn anymore at some point if you used color oops to remove that itll change a really funky color + itll be 10x harder to remove. go to a sallys or something like that and buy a color + 10 or 20 vol. developer. box dyes contain metallics that do more damage over time than youd think. when you do decide to put a darker color on your hair though you can do it as soon as you feel like your hair is in good enough of a condition to where you can process it. but as a cosmetologist i have to tell you that you should wait a minimum of a week before doing anything else to your hair. i really hope that helps! good luck.
      xo

Julie Rivers color oops does not work on "fashion shades" or semi permanent colors.only permanent hair dye is what it removes

You brought up the Hi color highlights! That would have been my main question because that brand is part of the underlying color that I want to have removed (I covered it up with Blue Black to go with a Halloween costume) Thanks for the info!

I just used one box on my hair and have been using blue black permanent box color for years i was afraid to use it but so happy i did first use my roots returned to a light brown and noticed my hair texture was softer and my natural waves where noticeable taking out layers of dye..transforming back to a more natural brown with red tones so I say another 2 boxes would do

I'm going to Sallys today to get hair color but my hair is a faded red with dark brown ontop (had to darken super fast for my work xD) and it's been about 3 months since I tried to cover up the red (some red still shows ontop) now I wanna go close to platinum blonde like a few tones darker but close. I have real thick damaged curly hair. I don't really wanna bleach but I've seen people use color oops and then bleach their hair THEN add color dye to it and I was wondering of that'd the right thing to do

    • @kirbyxo

+Lady Neko try using color oops and if it removes a good amount of color the first time then id say try a 2nd box. after that you can bleach your hair if its absolutely necessary but give your hair time to breathe and deep condition it between the color oops and bleach sessions.and if u have to bleach dont use a volume higher than 20 or 30. its better to use lower volume and keep it on the hair a little longer instead of using higher volume, shorter time and risking your hair breaking off completely =)
