Though he doesn't sympathise or understand students problems like Jeetu bhaiya but cares only about how anything affects his buisness and ranks, he is a hardcore businessman. They provide unhygienic food and if anyone falls ill, no one will take care of them, and even parents are not allowed to see their children. Wardens are the worst people here. No one will take care of hygiene, basic amenities. You won't even get vacation.

According to me in final season they should show that Vaibhav got 1 st rank because most of the people have perception that toppers have something off about them like either they study whole day and don't enjoy company of friends or they don't have good humour. But Vaibhav was just like most of us. He had decent humor and he doesn't enjoy study much but he still does it.
