Love my Canon P. Overhauled by DAG in 2018 and performs like new ever since! So solid in hand it makes sharp pics at 1/15 all day long. Still a bargain on eBay if you ask me. Everyone get one and put the LTM Canon 50 1.4 (or 1.8) on it and you will be sooooo happy! Thanks for all the awesome videos. Mesmerizing!
Thank you for this one. I've done a couple Canon model 7 cameras, and have a P sitting here awaiting cleanup of haze on the inner faces of the viewfinder windows.
Thank you very much. If you want to adjust the Rangerfinder on a canon P there is no need to remove the top cover. You adjust it by turning 2 different screws. The are totally accessable from the outside. They are located at the front. One under the small slotted screw, one adjustment screw behind the Rangerfinderglas. Cheers
Hello, do you have any videos on common issues with the L35AF 2 (Nikon One Touch) point and shoot camera repair? I have several of these with different issues and it's hard to find info on them. Also, do you have any classes or like one-on-one teaching over something like video chat that you offer? Or a facebook/instagram/etc type page where questions/emails could be sent? Thanks!
Hi, thank you for this video. I am by no means a camera fixer but the vertical rangefinder setting on my Canon P needs adjusting and I thought maybe this is something I can do myself. Can you post a link for the flexi-clamp (can’t find this anywhere) and also an appropriately sized spanner wrench to remove the rangefinder lens please?
What tool would you use to remove stripped screws from cameras and lenses without doing too much damage? I've looked for some type of... stripped screw extractor tool, but the things i've found are typically far too large for the tiny little screws used on cameras and lenses.
Hey, so I have a Canon P, the film counter works until it hits 3, and then every time you try to advance the shutter it slips back down to 3, everything seems to be going smoothly on the spools but it seems to be more of a counter problem? Any idea what this is?
Hi off topic but my focal plane curtain on my srt101 doesn’t go all the way up when the shutter is released , about 20% of it is hanging down when the shutter is open. I would really appreciate some advice.

New video, thank you very much. Very useful.
You are welcome. And thank you for your interest in FOC.
Beautiful camera!
It really is!

True enough, but a bit tricky... care must be taken not to damage the adjustment screw heads.

Hi, I'm looking to remove the top cover on a Canon ever, so do you need to unscrew the flash pc socket and if so how please.

Hello, how to fix the speed on this Canon P ? On my model, the 1000th don’t work properly ! Thank you
Possibly an issue with curtain tension.

Might be the material that acts as light shield has detached from the back of the mirror and is hanging down into the focal plane.
I recognize those serial numbers 👀😁
Thought as much... Good to hear from you!
Nice
Great
Hi I hope we can do a collab if we come over at somepoint! Miss you! Jordyn here.
Well that sounds like a good plan.
Ok! See you then!
If you are up for it, I could send you a Zeiss IKON Contaflex that's partly taken apart, I have all the parts.
If you are interested in a repair.
