@@Bang4BuckPCGamer Yeah DF have commented before on whether they should wait for all the day 1 patches to hit or just release the video they originally intended. My guess is they decided on the later. Either way you look at it, this game is definitely a wait and see what happens approach.
My dad thinks this is some sort of agreement microsoft and or sony made with these companies to Release bad ports to force us onto consoles. If you buy this and support this kind of behavior then you are a part of the problem. Any and all who purchased this... thanks for ruining pc gaming, go back to consoles please, pc is closed. Have some patience ppl.

@@CarlosDiaz-is8cu I have shown a lot of cut scenes. I have 4 different gameplays up on my channel. Go and watch them and see if I experience that situation.
My PC is far inferior than yours but I have problems with performance, like in Digital Foundry's video. I have a Ryzen 7 5800X3D, 32GB 3800 mhz CL16 tuned RAM and an RTX 4080 OC 2900 mhz 24/h. I DDUd the latest driver, reinstalled but no performance gain and also tried reinstall the game as well. I am waiting for a patch. These stutters and performance issues are very common in Unreal Engine 4 games, the last few UE4 games that I played had the similar problems.
@@Bang4BuckPCGamer With PBO2 Tuner I was able to reach 4450 mhz all core, though yes it isn't as high as the new AMD CPUs and far from the new Intel CPUs.
I don't move around my graphics cards as I don't treat my systems as test beds. The RTX 4090 will always be paired with the i9 13900K until I decide to upgrade.
What's the highest FPS that you could hit by lowering settings? Based on the other videos that I have seen, it doesnt seem to go above 120fps on any settings.
It is heavily cpu bottlenecked, in some areas it's fine , in others you can't even hit 60 fps Also it has memory leaks as vram usage increases steadily by significant margin which will degrade performance massively if you play for a while
to be honest i was thinking of building a 7800X3D and either a RTX 4080/7900XTX build but i think i'll just hold out another year or two, i say this becuase i feel like these gpus/cpus are going to age like milk in that timeframe with the rate the games are coming out, and games are just gonna get more demanding so yeah, probably flawed logic but guess we'll see

Never in my lifge did I think I would spend 1600 on a gpu and get games that stutter constantly. I would wait and see if PC gets improved and if not, save the money. The 13900k and 4090 build I have will never be upgraded unless something happens. It's truly sad. I remember what it was like gaming on pc and the experience that you use to get.....it really is a sad sad shadow of its former self.

UE5 games run much better than this. Hell, other UE4 games run much better than this. This is just rushed garbage. Another channel was getting a whopping 21GB of VRAM usage at UW 1440p. Absolutely ridiculous.

Here we can see why intel cpu s are better in general than AMD's one ! look the usage of the 13900K and 1% low, in average the 13900K use 5 to 6% less core usage than the 7900X3D, of course it s because of the memory who is locked at 6133mhz, actually if you have 7200 to 8000 mhz on the 13900K it will perform better up to 5 to 10 fps more in 4K ! i think i dont need to OC my 13900KS for this game !

In defense of DF, they also aren't running a 13900k at 6ghz and a massively overclocked 4090.

this game runs poorly but stable so I have a different opinion. Last of us was unplayable at start.

You're getting max performance out of both video cards. Others seem to be unable to do so. What are you doing differently?
I can only point to faster CPU's faster tuned Ram and don't use FSR, Play the game at Native.
you can still see shader comp stutter in your video, it shouldnt be there since they were "pre compiled"
You might want to go and watch that Digital Foundry video. They clearly state shader compilation does not work in this game lol

This game likes IPC and clock speed. The 5800X 3D lacks both.

@@PeterPauls That's maximum it can go. A normal 5800X can hit 5050Mhz and would do better in this game.
CPU bottleneck. Anything but ryzen 7000 or intel 13th gen runs like shit

AM5 is good for 2 future CPU upgrades. I won't even have to change my motherboard.

Maybe because the RTX 4090 is a £600 more expensive GPU. That and the fact the 7900 XTX is in competition with the RTX 4080.

That is not a good example. One has 24 threads the other has 32 threads.
CPU utilization is a totally useless stat. I wouldn’t go by that metric.
Comaring ulitization with diferent cpu count cores is nonsense also that what OC RAM you spekaing is unstable its spitouts errors even at 7000mhz
