How do you develop that fingerstyle????
I've been trying to come up with something similar but everything just sounds so uniform and regimented compared to this...
Great song as well
This picking pattern is insane. I’ve been trying to replicate it too.
I think the secret is a combo of developed travis-picking and dynamics
it comes naturally by doin your own rendition of things, basically don't listen to instructors and do your own thing. might not be "proper" to classically trained musicians but hey if it sounds good keep it up right
been playing very similar to this for so long. it is alot of work but if you can find a good rhythm and follow your bass notes first you would be suprised with what you can come up with
Well water was wine back on blue mountain time
Where I watched your loving expire
While I lay close to you
As the laces on the shoe
And that's when I knew
We were hard-wired
Well you bumbled like bees
And I'm boiled like the seas
While you led where no one would follow
So I head in the mud
Of my Catholic blood
And let that minute hand face stars tomorrow
Well you are as you came
Mostly blessin' cocaine
Yeah, just a match begging for fire
Yeah, and I am as I was
Sick with mercy and love
Well, I'm sorry enough
I was hard-wired
So sit by the still
Oh, drink up your fill
Yeah, tell all of them people your problem
Yeah, well those friends were so true
When you were twenty-two
But now you have nothing in common
But they are as they came
Mostly blessin' cocaine
Yeah, just a match begging for fire
Yeah, and I am as I was
Sick with mercy and love
Well the truth always was
We were hard-wired
So go brace for good times
Oh, do what feels right
And send me the bill when you tire
'Cause I am as I came
And I'll still be the same
I got nothing to play
Mhm, I was hard-wired
Yeah, 'cause I am as I was
And I stay here because
The truth always was
We were hard-wired
if you're going to get a sponsor, be like Shakey, and find a beer company.
why did he cut his hair ;(
This is one of his I don't understand... Still love it :3 but the lyrics don't click
Stephanie Cano Young relationships , love , drugs. And of course growing out of some those things and being unable to grow out of others.
+Stephanie Cano they are addicted to each other - hard wired - that connection you know is all wrong, but cant stop
+Stephanie Cano It's about being "hard wired" in the sense that it's something that just can't be changed. The girl has self destructive tendencies and is described as a "match begging for fire" as in she wants to do these things even though it will only hurt her. He's hardwired to her and would only leave if he could. In the end he accepts that nothing can be changed and tells her to do what she likes and that he'll be there after she inevitably does something stupid again.
David has it right. Hard wired is an old expression for have having a land line type connection, with electricity or whatever. These days we have wireless, but if you want a really solid connection, people still use land lines, like the new fiberoptic cables. Can't be interrupted and hard to interfere with.
