BENGALURU, INDIA - Welcome to Bengaluru (formerly Bangalore), the biggest city in Karnataka, and the third largest city in India. Bengaluru is known for being a tech capital, and they also have a lot to offer when it comes to food. Today we’re going on an Indian street food tour to eat 5 of the most unique and unusual street foods in Bengaluru.
➜ Kripal's channel: @FoodLoversTV - It was so much fun to hang out with Kripal who is passionate about food in Karnataka and extremely knowledgeable.
Raja Gobi JP Nagar (maps.app.goo.gl/SeN5WKLCL4vx5...) - You come here for one thing; Gobi Manchurian. Cauliflower is battered and deep fried, then stir fried with all sorts of tangy and spices sauce and extra masala spices. The result is truly unexplainable in words, something out of this world tasty.
Madhavan Park Bajji Shop (maps.app.goo.gl/4MycMXHyWqSqD...) - I was extremely excited to try Madhavan Park Bajji Shop for their whole deep fried bell pepper (Capsicum bajji). The bell peppers are battered in gram flour and seasonings, deep fried, then sliced into pieces and sprinkled with salad, masala and lime juice. Really delicious and a genius street food snack.
Uncle Egg Rice Corner (maps.app.goo.gl/NpXWa5aRseQew...) - Introduced originally by Kripal, this was one place I was extremely excited to try in Bengaluru. Chef has mastered the combination of egg fried rice with hard boiled egg curry. The cooking skills and knowledge of the spice combinations are incredible. A perfect example of humble everyday ingredients, transformed into something spectacular.
Jagli Tindi (maps.app.goo.gl/fyFw4VMcweg7s...) - Reviving old South Indian favorites, Jagli Tindi makes an outstanding idli that is steamed in a coconut shell. It’s something you have to try when you visit Bengaluru.
Shree Vasavi Condiments (maps.app.goo.gl/dkkkdUugXXbKS...) - Located on the extremely popular VV Puram Food Street, a glorious walking street dedicated to some of the best vegetarian Indian street food you’ll ever try, Shree Vasavi Condiments is famous for their Avarekai dosa - a dosa made with hyacinth beans among other herbs and vegetables. The dosa is made by flattening out the batter, adding a handful of the vegetable mixture, and frying with ghee, until extra crispy. It’s unlike any other dosa I’ve ever had, and incredibly tasty!
Thank you again to Kripal for taking us on this ultimate Indian street food tour in Bengaluru (Bangalore).

Man who cooked the egg dishes looked very proud of what he does, as he should. Never seen eggs used like that.
Indeed
It's genius use of egg. It's like the Indian equivalent of western cuisine "deviled" eggs.
I know right! The smile on this face while they tasted his food was priceless!
I take left over biryani n throw in some eggs to make an egg fried rice
Ok. .
Thank you, Mark, for visiting Karnataka and showcasing our myriad, exciting culinary offerings to the world. And it was a privilege to introduce you to some of the flavours of namma Bengaluru. I am glad you enjoyed your time here, it was wonderful sharing many a meal here with you. Your sincere passion and enthusiasm for food is inspiring. Happy eating! 🙏🙏
As Glad you guys are, I am disappointed in you Mr. Kripal. You were just not letting Mark to say how he felt about the food, you could have said your expertise/saying after mark gave his opinion rather you constantly tried to explain about what You felt(which you over did). Mark’s Energy was just not there in this Episode! You kindof over-shadowed his presense by over-doing it!
@@pavankumarkv5926 Absolutely true. Glad others noticed as well.
I agree.....Mr Kripal should have let Mark talk and share his experience more regarding the taste.....
That's why for the 1st time didn't liked a Mark Weins episode.
dont speak too much kripal ji. THATS SO IRRITATING.. ACT LIKE A NATURAL FOOD LOVER, DONT BUMBLE TOO MUCH LIKE A GOAT
kripal just spoke 100 synonyms of aroma, aromat, aromatic, incense, fragrance, scent, smell 😂😂😂😂
😂😂
He is fluent in hype
😂😂😂
Thats caled having a "vocabulary"
seems like a chutiya guy, Keeps interrupting Mark
I am from northeast India and i studied in Bangalore for two years 10 years ago , the people there are the kindness and most friendly on earth. I will never forget this beautiful city.
It's so kind of you. Love u broooo..
Banglor and are r ally friendly I agree I visited there ..
speak a speck of hindi and all the kindness comes crashing down.
@@kibutsugimuzan9766that's what social media shows you. Here everyone speaks Hindi if not thn atleast understand Hindi. No one will say anything if you speak politely, if you show attitude then ofcourse locals will retiliate. It's when I come to your house & start showing my attitude, you will kick me out of your house. It's just like that. Respect is a 2 way lane, you can't give respect but expect that others should give you respect? Lol 😂😂😂 If you don't know the ground reality, it's better to keep your shitty mouth shut. Btw the guy clearly said he stayed for 2 years so he would have experienced this, idk why you advising him? Krne ko kaam nahi hota hai bss har jagah bakchodi krna hai inhe bss.
@@HemanthKumar-hu9sc what are you yapping about neanderthal? do you even know the ground reality?I have in person felt that hostility and yet they scream about how racist the north is to them.
Wonderful, Kripal is the only person who fit the role of showing around Bengaluru for food.
How desperate he’s looking thou. Typical Indians around foreigners
Yeah watch (food loverstv) his TH-cam channel, kripal is one of the best food vloggers in India
No. He don't know anything. Kannada people know bengaluru better
@@movieteamkannada7669 Agree. He ruined it. Mark should have got a better guide.
2 Brainless kids spotted
This is a crossover that wasn't expected. But, the meet up of these two food lovers is itself a treat to watch.
Kirpal guy doesn't know what he's talking about, from the get go about sweetness from ketchup 😅

Hope you get to taste it soon too buddy
Welcome to Bangalore Mark. Thanks for sharing these humble eateries, but they are well appreciated by us.
I appreciate you for making such detailed videos for Karnataka
There aren't any videos on TH-cam showing proper food culture of this state. You are the only one doing it right now.
Thank you
Yeah
Even though I'm Kannadiga, I had no idea about Manglore seafood until I watched his video
First watch and support kannada food channels.
krIpal amana is a famous vlogger Seems like you guys ignore your own folks
@@Aerotyler23 you are right, I watched his stuff after this video.
His content is quite different from what I consume, I assume that is why I never discovered him and also I didn't find his videos in series for Karnataka when I searched for it before. I think it is because he has made videos with restaurant and recipe names
kripal amana is a bangalorean and his @foodlovers tv is very popular youtube channel. something you want to check.
Marks smile is so infectious - even Kripal started grinning just like him... so beautiful to see you two!
Two of my favourite food hosts in one frame,Luv from Karnataka
Few years ago, somebody else was showing Raja Gobi to Kripal. Now kripal doing it to Mark. Life has come a full circle for Kripal😇

Dear Mark - You couldn’t have chosen a better ambassador and Food lover of India - The legendary Kripal . This collab vlog is one of the best ones that I have watched and so glad that you thoroughly relished the Raja Gobi Manchurian 👌😋 I agree the modest dish has been elevated to the next level in terms of preparation and quality 👌 Next pitstop with Rajamma’s Street food eatery . The bell pepper dish has hit the spot with the condiments 👌 Lovely gesture in thanking the owner and her son . Next pit stop is Uncle Egg Rice with Egg Curry and the legend simply relished the combo 😋😋👌 Next one is the Double egg Manchurian and Mark found the experience as Outstanding 👍 Next pitstop is the Jagli Thindi - the famous Coconut shell Idli and Mark is blown away by the two different types of idli and good combo with the chutney and Sambhar 👌 Next up a walk down the Food street in VV Puram . First dish is a Root topped with some lime and sugar / salt and it’s unique for Kripal as well . The Avarebele Dosae with some Chef theatrics was interesting to watch by Mark ( Dosa song ) . It’s but obvious that Mark loved it too . This was a super fabulous vlog and we genuinely lapped it up . What more can one ask for when two legends collab to make a fascinating series of Karnataka vlogs 💯💯
What kind of root?
That’s not just a root ! Do some research
Why does this look like an AI post
It's like AI was asked to summarise the video 😂
@@Scorparoop The name of the Tuber is called - Ram Kand Mool which is a drum-shaped tuber mainly found in Indian states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra. It is a lesser-known variety of tuber and root-fruit. Even though its identity is mysterious, it is believed to be the flowering stalk of Century plant. To be candid I haven’t seen or tasted anything like this one .
Karnataka people are so amazing and hospitality is next level

The collab we've never imagined!!! Here for it. Big fan of both Mark and Kripal and have been following them since many years now. I watched Kripal's video first on this collab and was just stunned and later this popped up on my feed - I felt Mark could've done a better job at introducing Kripal to his viewers.
The collaboration we didn't expect but deserved to see, love seeing you both in one video ❤
The Food looks Delicious 😋 another Beautiful video 📹
Kripal pride of kannada and food ambassador for karnataka with excellent food narration
I saw it as just a local trying to expand the description beyond "uhmmmmmm sooo good yummmy" and actually explaining what the goal of the ingredients are, which he can taste more easily as a local... like we can explain a cheeseburger to a non local as Americans...
Two popular personalities whom I like the most are together on one screen. I Just loved this vlog.
It's a really amazing video dear Mark and Aman sir.
Waiting for another wonderful video.
Awesome video as always 👌 👏 Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
I love Kripal Amanna and his videos on his channel. It's nice to see Mark and Kripal Together. ❤ It's a legendary video no doubt.
Indian food just never misses. So much spices and nutrition.
It really surprises me to see how while describing you are making it sound like a novelty to all this common Indian street food which many of us opt to eat it on a regular basis due to it being tasty & budget friendly.
Waw Super. Welcome to Karnataka❤
Marks face is like dude shut up it’s my channel stop talking so much 😂

The fact is that all the food in India is very salty, when mark said OH WOW it was because maybe the food was delicious and because the food had too much salt. 😂

What an amazing guy! He's just not coming but also works with local TH-camrs even though he don't need to. True Gentleman
Keep up the great work!, you're passion for food is palpable.
Cauliflower isn't interesting? Steam it, season it lightly, add melted butter. Or serve it with cheese sauce. Or put it, raw, on a plate of crudites and dip into your favorite dipping sauces. Fresh and steamed veggies have been a favorite of mine since childhood on my grandparents' farm!!😮
Well, everyone has their own preferences lol
I love Gobhi Manchurian but I am 100% sure I wouldn't like Cauliflower your way 😀
I don't like most veggies and fruits despite me being a 100% vegetarian 🙂

List never ends, hope you would make one more visit.
Have you ever had any trouble with getting sick from a food…..I am amazed you can eat so many types of food….I have been a friend for a lot of years……blessings to you and your loved ones…..❤❤❤
There is a very low chance of getting sick. Lots of youtubers make a big matter out of it and make videos just for views
Achullaly packaged food more chance of getting poisoned than Street food sellers, because Street food maybe look unhygienic, but they made it instantly from from fresh ingredients
It depends on how strong your immune system is.
You have less risk of getting sick if you eat freshly cooked foods. The risk increases if you eat food that uses raw ingredients especially water. Which is the biggest cause of getting sick. Always drink packaged or filtered water in India. And eat cooked food. Avoid raw foods.
Different from most food vloggers Mark seems to finish most of his food or it's just good editing. But this makes him different from others and most watched too
There is no substitution of Indian food specially south Indian food ❤❤
