Toyota quoted me almost $2000 in labor and parts to replace the side mirror! The assembly (with blind spot, heating and camera) alone was over $1000, but I found a used one on Ebay for under $300. Great to see that it should be easy to replace it myself as well... this will save me a ton, thanks for the video.

I've hit my sideview mirror three times while backing out of my garage- the 3rd time I broke the turn signal light in it and my mechanic told me I can't pass my next inspection until it's fixed. This is the first video on this generation of Highlander I have located after searching for several years since I hit it the first time in 2020 and did some cosmetic damage showing how to remove the panel. Thank you for posting! Also, there are finally some 3rd party sideview mirror replacements for sale- I don't have to pay $300+ for the official Toyata part- there are $100 options now. Now it will cost just some plastic pull tools and mirror!
