For over thirty years, Standard Oil has been on a mission to crush it's competition and establish itself as a monopoly to hoist up the price of kerosene. Mr. Rockefeller, before the court renders it's decision, do you have anything you wish to say?
Actually the opposite he wanted prices to be down. That’s why he won. He wanted the most efficient way to get oil. That’s the big misconception about him.
To a credit yes President Theodore Roosevelt did do much addressing robber Baron issue on corporate Monopoly by regulating industry but President William H , Taft court did much to break up trust like Standard Oil.
