    What a great podcast but what I can’t understand is why if emotions are involved why does the brain target the pelvic genital area.

      Hi Shaun,
      This is an exceptional question. One that I've studied quite intensely in the last few years. I wanted to know, if the brain is creating pain due to nervous system dysregulation, why specifically in the root region of the body?
      I do go over some possibilities in episode 2, when I talk about why symptoms show up in certain parts of the body.
      A more extensive answer will be in the book that I am currently writing, in which I will overlay neuroscience and emerging science of the "energy centers" of the body (mini-brains/nerve plexuses and hormonal centers, referred to as chakras in ancient wisdom). Ultimately, I have found that nothing is random, and that there is a reason for why it appears in a part of the body. The thoughts and emotions are quite relevant here, too.
      Great question!

    What is your opinion on Caffeine? On one hand I feel I need to get my brain used to it and on the other, I don't know if it is wise to increase urinary sensations.

    • @TransformPelvicHealth
      @TransformPelvicHealth  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey this is moonless right? You changed your name? Well...caffeine does affect the body. Look at how it affected you before you ever had any pelvic/urinary issues, that would give you more of a clue around how your body handles it. There are many people who drink caffeine that used to have urinary issues that now don't. There is not one definitive answer on this, as it depends on what is happening for you.

    • @Moonless6491
      @Moonless6491 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TransformPelvicHealth Yeah, I changed for a day, but I think I like Moonless best, lol. Yeah, sometimes it affects me and other times not, but doesn't help at all during symptoms. However, I struggle with interpreting if it is wrong to cut out caffeine all together.

    Hello michael !! Sir your podcast is brilliant!! Sir i know its mind body based and certain stressors make my muscle tight at base of penis and i also do calming practices to have some relief along with the addressing the root cause and still got days with high symptoms sir i am going to thailand next week with my brother and i am little nervous as it was my first time travelling in an airplane so sir i am little excited and same time worried about how my nervous system gonna react to the situations. So sir i should not fear and go to the trip as plane tickets are booked ?

      Definitely have no fear and just enjoy your time. When you are sitting down in the chair, do a guided meditation or a breathwork, then watch a movie or read a book; just enjoy yourself. You are going to have a great time!

    Hey Michael
    Something I’d like to query about. I have this random zapping sensation in my penis that will literally come and go throughout the day. I will spare you the long story but I know it’s mind body. The sensation lasts like a second and goes away. It can be worse in times of stress. Actually I had managed to get clear of it during vacation when I had what I assume was a stomach bug. The random zapping stopped down below and actually moved into my stomach then. As soon as the random zapping stopped in my stomach, it moved back down into my penis again. It’s like when my focus moved to my stomach the pain started there, then when I worried about down below again it switched.
    The thing is I can’t focus on the sensation. I can’t lean into the pain because it’s comes and goes so quickly and basically never there when I relax. When it jolts me hard it’s enough to send me into a nervous wreck making me doubt all the emotional work I am trying to do. How can I stop this zapping from bothering me every time it strikes and just start moving on with my life? I think there’s definitely a connection between when I start emotional work and the symptom. Have you noticed any ones symptoms intensify at the beginning of emotional work? It’s as if the sensations are trying to pull me back when I start making a mental shift.
    Any advice you offer will go a long way. Thank you.

      This is very common. When you begin to approach the subconscious content that was filed away due to the pain/hurt/fear related to it, your brain can create a symptom to pull you back to "the current seemingly safe, known."
      I have seen people get migraine headaches and have big flare-ups with emotional work, this is what is happening; it's not random.
      When it comes to the sensation being so ephemeral, I would do somatic tracking or other meditations, essentially noticing your fear of the sensation, even if it is not currently present. It is your fear/resistance to the sensation that will keep it around. And, keep going into the belly of the beast. Remind your body that you are safe, and that you are now ready to see and release what was stored below.
      It does get easier and better, you are doing great.

    How 1400 years ago in the Qur’an, God said, “They have hearts with which they cannot reason,” and now science says this. Is it possible that it is the words of humans? They used to mock the scientific error that the mind is the center of understanding, but now it is the opposite

      Thanks for your comment Cole! The program includes several years of tools that we have created, a fully guided path, and also 6 months of coaching support from me. It ends up costing must less than 1:1 coaching and way less than traditional medical approaches. And ultimately, it is working for people, which is most important. I hope that our free resources are also helping you. Take care!
