What does it take to create a winning book cover design? Time to find that out 🔥
Today we want to show you how we created a thrilling book cover for Ria Hendrickson's sci-fi Infinity Virus 🦠
✨We began with creating the basic composition of the cover: we picked a catchy view of space for the background and layered an image of the MC wearing a medical protection suit on top.
✨ Next, we added details to grab the readers' attention and communicate the book's theme. We placed a bright accent over the MC's shoulder and added images of the virus and blood cells that echo the book's title.
✨Finally, it was time for retouching: we made the MC's eyes pale as the author requested, changed the color scheme of the entire image to make it darker, and increased the contrast to ensure it's eye-grabbing.
