Book Cover Design Process for M. Campling's Sci-Fi book Wall | Photoshop Speed Art

Get ready, 'case today we'll show you how we created a mesmerizing book cover for M. Campling's sci-fi Wall 🚀
✨Since the fantastic world was central to this cover art, we started with designing the background image. We picked a few images of the rocky landscape, merged them together, and retouched the final image to make it look natural and realistic. We also added plants to make the land seem less deserted.
✨ Next, we added the image of the MC: the view from behind the protagonist allows to focus the readers' gaze on the background and helps the audience dive deeper into the fictional world.
✨Finally, we added a spaceship to ensure the readers can guess the book's genre, improved the cover's color palette, and retouched the whole image to make it catchy and memorable.
The final version of the cover was slightly changed upon the author's request 🙌
