    I'm thinking of upgrading to these from the rb4. The rb4 has an awkward fist and it doesn't allow me to land on my knuckles when hitting the bag. Do these gloves allow you to make a correct fist?

    • @andytieu604
      @andytieu604  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have never tried the RB4 so I can't give a fair comparison. However I will say my hands fit perfectly in the size medium RB50's with no hand wraps. My hand circumfrance is a little over 7.5inches around the palm.
      I find the RB50's very comfortable. No issues landing with my knuckles at all. The detached thumb is nice in helping make a comfortable fist. Theyre my favourite bag gloves even til this day. And at $99 canadian or so - its worth picking up.
      If you do decide to try them I hope it works out for you!

      @@manny2493These gloves are very small and will cause issues for anybody with large hands.

    Hi , I am currently interested in buying these. I am 5' 7 and 180 lbs. What size would you recommend? and lately i've been having hand problems, would you say wearing knuckle pads and handwraps, would be neccessary ? Would appreciate your insight. thanks

      If ylu have hand problems I would recommend rivals other bag gloves that have more padding. These gloves here I like using without hand wraps in the size medium. With handwraps they are snug. But I feel these are great gloves for feeling feedback and hand conditioning. I do not know the extent of your hand problems. But if you are set on buying these and want to pair them with hand wraps and a gel knuckle pad like winnings ng2 I would say a large would do. Because I'm 5'7 200lbs and the medium fit me perfrctly

    How do these compare with your RB10 for knuckle protection and wrist support? I have the RB1 in 12oz and looking to upgrade. I have a lot of power but somewhat fragile hands. Wondering if this d3o makes a difference for impact protection.

    • @andytieu604
      @andytieu604  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey great question! Knuckle protection is good. The D3O.. honestly I don't feel much if any difference with gloves that have it.
      The RB10s I enjoy wearing and using with hand wraps. So that alone makes knuckle protection better.
      These gloves here the RB50's I enjoy using without handwraps. Knuckle protection I would rank the Rb10's knuckle protection to being a bit better because they feel like they have a little more padding in them.. However these gloves here feel way more comfortable. Also to something to note.. I enjoy using these much more with no hand wraps maybe because of the snug fit and the detached thumb is my favourite thing ever. It really allows for a natural fist.
      Also you may want to check out their RB5's its much much thinner, I also use it without wraps. But its inexpensive and something if you could afford to add as an extra pair of bag gloves ontop of the Rb10's or Rb50's.
      Add into your gym bag for hand conditioning. I think it would be very beneficial. I hit the heavy bag with my bare fists all the time started when I was a kid and I truly believe with proper technique and placement it will help over time strengthen your hands. Perhaps give it a try. I'm not a physical therapist or anything. But thats just my opinion. Please take it with a grain of salt. 🙂

      These have helf up beautifully. A little super light yellowing in the mesh from sweat but thats to be expected. The fit and function is still 10/10
