I was there last June. I didn't get to see any fly-by from the platform. However, while driving down below in the valley, a fighter went through then went [almost] vertical right by me. I think he/she was giving me a show

Just got back from seeing them at Saline valley couple weeks ago, was interesting they flew one pass with gear down toward the lake bed along Saline Valley road before retracting and flying out end of valley.

That was some great video of some relatively low level flying in a big plane. But I missed the part where they flew through star wars canyon. I saw them fly over some canyons but not through them. As an ex B-52 pilot from the 80s, I have spent a lot of time flying low, about 3 hours of each flight was spent doing terrain avoidance, so I know what low level is, but most of the video of these guys was pretty high. Our floor was 200 feet, though we often went lower when nobody was watching, and we did this day and night, good weather or bad, through the mountains or over flat and rolling terrain, not just on severe clear days.

Could skip the music, would rather hear the plane

You'd get tired of the noise in the flight deck. She's not quiet. Trust me

Agree. NO MUSIC !! I’d rather hear the jet noise and the crew.

Great to see the big jets getting in some low level flying.

@@C40globalpilot Out of curiosity... what kind of KIAS/KCAS do you fly low level at? Based on the video it looked around 230 250ish?
