Listening to this via my 4 years old XM4. This pair is still the best headphone I have ever owned.
I DON'T EVEN KNOW THIS BEAST HAS NFC. THANKS FOR THE VIDEO MAN

I full on agree with you, and haha that's amazing, I was even shocked when I found out it had an NFC tap-to-connect function too. Pretty cool if I do say so myself!

My XM4s broke a few months back, and I bought a pair of XM5s, and let me say this, the XM4s are better in almost every way (sound quality, battery life, NFC, the earcups fold inward so the soft earcup rests on your chest, the ear detection actually works unlike the XM5), the only things the XM5 does better (on ear comfort, noise cancelling) are only slight improvements and not worth the additional cost. (edit: forgot to mention my XM4s broke after four years of almost daily usage, they are very solid headphones and I'd recommend them over the XM5s any day)

Shame to hear your XM4s broke, how long did you have them for? And yeah I completely agree, the one biggest reason I've kept with the XM4s is how compact they are, I'm able to fold them up and put them in my coat pocket which I can't do with the XM5s. The XM5s do have better ANC and ear comfort I'm with you on that, but everything else the XM4s excel in, plus you can get the XM4s for nearly half the price, kind of a no brainer haha!

Can you tell please do you have some pc gaming experience with xm4/5? It it ok to play over Bluetooth with better connectivity mode?

I usually use a wired pair of headphones for PC Gaming. I do think the XM4s would do fine for casual gaming but the latency that comes with Bluetooth may not allow for the best experience on more competitive games like Counter-Strike 2, and Valorant.
Then again, you may use them for eSports titles, and you might get on grand with them. But I personally wouldn't recommend them for highly competitive shooters, hope that helps!

some B roll was super dark and significantly lower quality, the graphics are okay, i know how hard they can be but you can easily fix the lighting and the quality of some of those dark B roll scenes

Thanks for the advice. I definitely have a lot to work on in my next videos but I’m learning a lot the more videos I make. Ligthing and Audio are my two biggest points of concerns at the moment so hoping to improve them in the coming videos. I think it may also be the LUT I was using throughout the video and how Premiere Pro just wasn’t being consistent with colour correction across the board, I’m sure I’ll get there eventually!

Do you currently own a pair of Sony WH-1000XM4s, if so how are you finding them? I personally think they're a great pair of headphones and I prefer them over the XM5s and even the AirPods Max!

Hey, should I go for these at €215 or go for the newer ULT range at €130?

@ Great question! First and foremost I’d definitely recommend you try both out and see what you prefer, you may like the fit and comfort of the XM4s but might love the crazy bass on the ULTs. For the prices you mentioned I would probably go for the ULTs and if you aren’t fond of them maybe try returning them to go for the XM4s. I have seen XM4s go for cheaper than €215 though and I’d definitely recommend to maybe buy used on Amazon. I’ve bought plenty of used stuff on Amazon and even though it might say “Acceptable” condition, I’ve had some cases where it’s come in brand new!
