- If you are interested in multi camera streaming from the convenience of your iPhone or Android device, I have found an alternative to Switcher Studio. You do not have to continue to pay a $49 monthly fee to have quality service. The Roland Aerocaster Live allows you to connect up to 5 devices and gives you built in lower third/video file import capabilities, built in direct sound inputs with the ability to mix each track individually, physical buttons to switch between camera angles and more features that I will cover in a separate video. All of this for only $300.00.
I have spent the last four months testing this device looking to find something wrong and couldn't. Don't get me wrong, I still love and use my DSLR and cinematic cameras and switchers, but for functions that call for convenience and quality, this is it! #roland #aerocaster #videoproduction #production
Liked the video Ray and great tip. Seeing this and reading up on it, you are right, It is the best alternative to Switcher Studio but the only thing missing for me that is a dealbreaker is no option to stream to RTMP and that prevents streaming to a custom outlet and putting it behind a paywall to monotise.

If they allowed you to use the Accsoon Seemo like Switcher I might go ahead and buy it. Switcher Studio lets you use DSLR's now with the Seemo.

Hi blessed Day may i ask is split screen mode customizable or can adjust the size of the 2 cameras scenes and make a background while i adjust the size of the split screen like in switcher studio. Thanks a lot
A few questions.
1. I know you can control the Zoom remotely, but can you also pair DJI Osmo Mobile gimbal and control it to Pan & Tilt like how you can with Switcher Studio?
2. Does aerocaster support FB Crossposting?
If not, can you at least add multiple FB Pages at once? I don't seem to see any demo regarding this. I know you can add multiple destinations (TH-cam, Facebook, Twitch, etc) but what about multiple FB Pages at onoce?
3. Does it have control over the mobile's flash to act as light?-
- whenever the camera angle is active, the flash activates.
- Always ON
- OFF
4. Can you see live comments in the app and be able to push it live as popup or lower thirds?

Fully agree with you. I would rather make a one off payment for hardware than the high cost of subscribing to software streaming services. Software streaming also requires a more powerful PC than the hardware solution.
I have used this for several events and have been extremely pleased.
Can you do a video showing how you use this?
For audio, can input sound from another mixer/soundboard? - my church already has one setup
I need to capture my windows screen n sound to ipad, is there any app that can do that beside switcher studio?

A couple questions. Does the pip edit size and does the audio delay become a problem? One more question, can you record if you chose to not livestream?
The PIP function has been okay with size. I will upload a video specifically on that for you. I have not experienced any audio delay. I plugged my microphones directly to the console and it was sync with my iPads. You can record without livestream, but the only drawback is that you need to still go live. I use Switchboard Live so although it is sending a signal to switchboard for me to go live, I can control that function separately.
I’m having an issue dialing in my audio from my mixer. Any suggestions?
Reason I don't use Switcher anymore is because they don't have it on Windows smh.
This one doesn't appear to allow multi-streaming. Am I incorrect?
Thank you for the information. Can you please do a video using the Roland? Can I hook up a iPad that’s hooked up to zoom and all other platforms live TH-cam and Facebook live? My church is looking to upgrade. What we have right now is a laptop and a webcam linked to zoom, but of course a webcam can’t zoom in or out which doesn’t leave room for creativity. Any tips is appreciated. 😊
Have you looked at the BlackMagic ATEM Mini? These allow you to bring in 4 sources that have HDMI outputs. This could be mobile phones, camcorders, DSLR cameras, computers etc. You can use it with Zoom as it will show up as a webcam. You could also stream directly to TH-cam if you prefer.
I agree. The Atem mini is perfect for what you are looking for. Either or.

How does that compare to Mevo Cam, that now has an app that lets you use a smartphone as additional cameras AND mics? Thanks.

I have not used Mevo yet. I will order and do a video on it.
I had a Mevo Camera at one point. It absolutely does not compare to Switcher Studio and what you can do with it.
Mevo is for quick multicam streaming but it would take you a very long time to prepare your slides (convert them to PDF and split pages up to 50 only) and other things you want to show on screen (text, lyrics, images). It doesn't support video playback and you cannot connect a computer for videos, slides and powerpoints.
I haven't tried their new subscription option but I don't think that solves my problems.
So is anyone having a problem with the video freezing?
