just ordered some Varivas hooks off the VMO website and found you guys from the hooks video and glad I have 😊 Great video lads, really enjoyed the fishing and banter. I've been out of the game for 11years cause we have five kids but now I'm getting all my sea gear back around me slowly. I often have one rod that goes out and stays out incase of any large passers by. Usually a small live whiting or pouting on a livevait slider.
4/0 catfish hook nicked just beneath its dorsal fin. Havent caught a cod on it yet, but have had two nice sized bass on it now, one at 4lb one at just over 5lb

Hi fella, your so right about the Jag hook sharpener kit. I give all my sea hooks the Jag treatment. Just like carp hooks you will be amazed how much sharper they are. Be worth investing in again bud.

We use that long rig but flapper style 3 hooks 10 foot long on brean beach walk back method put out in the incoming tide big lead walk back with tide leaving out for a long time
