I sat with my mom for 16 hours, I left for about 45 minutes to grab a drink and sandwich and I was about five minutes away from my mom when I received the call from the nursing home that she had just passed away. I know she didn't want me to be there at her moment of death, but for a few months I had a real feeling of guilt for not being there at the moment of her passing. Now I'm at peace.
I was at work and told my boss I had to go because I knew I needed to be with my mom in the nursing home. I picked up my daughter and when we got there, she was in a wheelchair. I hugged her and said if you want to go it’s alright. I will be ok and with that she died. I had nightmares about that for weeks but then I realized how blessed I was to be there when she passed. It was meant to be ❤
@@FrancineHasCancer My grandmother (dad's mother) died with her mom, she died @ 65 of lung cancer... I think she was hesitant to leave her family so soo, clearly, so died with my mom around, I believe. Take care
