I'd love a proper bike and saddle fit. Just of late I've had a really uncomfortable feeling on my upper inner thigh. So this video was really timely for me.
In addition to the pressure mapping, what about adding a slight rotational section as well. While peddling there’s certainly a rotational component, and if the saddle rotates with you, it should alleviate some pressure or heat from friction right?
I am interested in trying out this saddle, as saddle comfort is my limitation for how long I can stay in position. But I ride ultra distance, with lots of varied sitting cause of varied terrain. Is one of them more suited for mixed position than the other?
Maybe silly, but if a video starts with “payed promotion”, is it your opinion? Or that of Ergon? This always bugs me with single vendor reviews that they even pay for…
I wouldn’t really put much stock in any recommendations from GTN or GCN etc., they are getting paid to produce these videos. For ages GCN was recommending Muc-Off stuff even though their stuff is among the worst-performing chain lubes you can buy on the market. Take the training tips but for product recommendations you’re better off doing your own research
Well, it's all about paid content today...and if on top of that the collabo is professional the manufacturer does not force the content creator/s to write/say what they want to hear, but let the content be grounded on real and authentic tests. ✌
@@ErgonBike it always casts doubt. We don’t know the specifics of the payment and the accompanying contract. I do understand why brands like yours pay for this kind of content, but it’s just not my cup of tea.
This is a question we can answer also. 😎 The weights of the Ergon SR Triathlon saddles differ between men's and women's models as the weights for the men models are like 220 g (Front) and 205 g (Mid) - and the weights for the women's modells are 230 g (Front), 215 g (Mid).
I have a road bike that I will put aero bars on for tri's. I would like to know if this saddle will be comfortable in a road position as well, or would I need to switch out saddles?
Most good Ergon stockists have some measurement tools and a static bike for you to give it a shot and find out, but providing where you prefer to sit on the saddle isn't wildly different between the two we would suggest that yes it will be comfortable for both
Pleasure having you at our headquarters and introducing our SR Tri!
Just bought a used tt bike, and was considering to replace the saddle at some point. Will definitely have these in mind when I decide.

Really interesting concept & Simon came across very well. Great Vid!
I was just looking at saddles!

With wich tilt is this saddle mounted?
I can’t find any instructions to start with.

What is the cost? Couldn’t even figure out on their website
I'm sure it'll be a pretty run of the mill price like all their saddles.
It’s 250€
Exactly what @SaschaRissling commented: It's actually 249,95€ for each of the models.
Even like Sascha already commented, it's about 249,95€ for each model of the Ergon SR Triathlon.
If I train hard and eat right I also can claw my way up to mid.

@@MichaelZ-1 like I wrote above. No worries.
How many grams have the model that you received?

@@gtn Yeah, right.
The video was about 10x longer than it should have been.
Great marketing! Absolutely ZERO info on their website.
2 to 3 years of development to model someones ass? Rapid prototyping? Typical marketing bullshit as usual for a GxxNetwork channel.
We're just asking ourselves right now, if bot trolls are'nt able to choose less conspicuous user names. 😅
