Thank you buddy, it’s always good to hear from you! I’m about to post a new video. I’m crossing hurdles and definitely doing better. Getting important tests done this week. If it’s good, I’ll be sitting pretty….🤩 Have a great day my friend!
Good morning Helen, thank you so much for your prayers! I must say I’m feeling better and moving forward. I hope this time I can stay without roadblocks. you have a blessed day!
Hey Paul! Welcome back! I hope your health continues to improve. Thanks for another great tip. I have been wanting to install some exterior lights, and this video will help me with getting the wires through the attic.
Thank you, I really appreciate that! I’m doing my best to get back to full speed. I really needed to get back on my videos, you guys give me something to work for. Have a great day!
Great video! In the situation where you pulled a cable that was too short, another quick option (especially with the size hole you used in the top plate) is to use the line that is too short as a “pull string” for the correct length line. This will prevent you from having to use couplers, etc. which can break down and potentially degrade your signal strength. (Provided you have enough extra cat 5 to do this) Nice work as always though!
Thanks Mike, that is a very good Idea. I never thought about the splicer, I’ve used them in the past with no problems but I’m sure it could happen. A 1 1//8 inch hole passes code and doesn’t weaken the structural integrity of the wall. Plumbing requires a much larger hole in your top plate. I haven’t used foam to seal the hole yet because I may want to add cameras. I really appreciate the information and you taking the time for me. Have a great day!
I was thinking about you yesterday. I must have ESP! I was praying for you again! You're looking great, so the surgeries went well and like you said....No More Surgeries!! I am so glad you're back! Like always, this video is full of information. Thank you, Paul!
Hi Sandi, it is great to hear from you! Prayers are working, I’m on the road to recovery. It’s been a rough couple of years and a roller coaster ride. Still having tests, but optimistic. God bless and have a great day!
I will find the answer to that question and it is a great one. I used my Wi-Fi to get everything working, but I do not need my Wi-Fi to continue using it. I only need the Wi-Fi for my iPhone app so I can see and control it from other places. If you don’t want to use the app, you can disconnect the Internet from your unit and just use it as a closed caption system. I still have a number of questions that I want to ask on about this system. I will tell you that the app is free so once you purchase the unit, you never have to pay again unless you want to add cameras to it. Thanks!
well you just proved me that the only reason for me not install this type of camera system. that I really would like. Is just doing it .get myself some fish sticks and get it done. Thanks Paul.
Paul, forgive me for pointing this out, but the text on your T-shirt needs to have an apostrophe added. “Pauls,” as it is depicted, is a plural, meaning two or more Pauls. But how that word “Pauls” should be written as is as a possessive “Paul’s.” “Paul’s Toolbox” is the correct spelling. You might want to correct that so that you aren’t teaching people incorrect English. Keep up the good work. I enjoy your channel!
I appreciate your input for I know you are only trying to help, but I spelled it this way for a reason. Some people will google Paul’s’ Tool Box, others may google Paul’s toolbox and they will come up with different listings. I would also have a hard time getting my trademark. I always tell people to google Paulstoolbox as 1 word and it will be me with no confusion. From a marketing standpoint it makes sense. Thanks for taking the time for me and have a great day!
Thank you Gina! This comes in really handy for me with my grandson. (Peace of mind) I had 4 surgeries in 5 months but feeling much better now. Have a great weekend!!

Paul this POE system is no way connected to wi-fi ?
I will find the answer to that question and it is a great one. I used my Wi-Fi to get everything working, but I do not need my Wi-Fi to continue using it.
