- The Mityana municipality MP Francis Zaake is facing the disciplinary committee again. This follows a decision by the speaker to refer him to the Rules and Privileges Committee after he disrupted today's plenary following his refusal to heed the speaker's orders to leave the floor. The protest by Zaake was on the grounds that the presiding officer intended to stop him from delivering a statement on the continued alleged abductions of the National Unity Platform supporters. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition

I do not think the honourable Zaake did anything wrong. He feels pain when people are abducted because he has gone through the same torture which those people are going or are about to go through . That language of intimidation is also uncalled for from the deputy speaker. Majority of the members of parliament are silent about these issues because most of them belong to the ruling party and they have not had their children being tortured or their relatives or friends . Lastly the Deputy speaker should use his office well and an independent judgement on issues at his disposal.
You may be right but why do you think those guys are arrested and you are not arrested. why? There is a say that says there is no smoke without fire.
The Parliament has been held to ransom......
