- Empathy is heavily misunderstood. Learn exactly what it is, what it isn't and the value it can bring to all aspects of life both at home and in the workplace.
When it comes to mental healthy issues, empathy is the game changer. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
Great video! Remember to extend empathy and compassion for yourself.

I so appreciate how you articulated this. Recently, I keep asking myself why I feel so much compassion to my brother who was so abusive and mean towards me. It’s because I can see him without my ego involved. Now that I know this, I must keep my boundaries strong. I can’t let him start dumping on me because I feel for him. He needs help from someone else. Thank you! 🙏🏽
Great video. While it’s known that sociopaths, psychopaths and narcissists can’t be empathic, we want to make sure we address the Neurodivergent’s who suffer from Alexythemia so we do not isolate and mislabel them as the other group.
Alexythemia is a neuropsychological condition that makes it hard for an individual to describe or recognize their own emotions or those of others. Unlike the narcissist or sociopath, they can feel sympathy, but not empathy.
Alexithymia is highly seen in autistic individuals and is broader than just emotions. This can also affect other senses. Such as not recognizing hunger, thirst, or the need to use the restroom. A lot of times those with this condition would misunderstand these basic signals as “anxiety”, saying that “something doesn’t feel right” without knowing they are dehydrated or malnourished.
The fundamentals of Alexithymia is mainly that the brain cannot decipher the signals coming from the body. For someone who can’t understand the signals of their own body will have a difficult time deciphering the signals coming from others, aka “social cues”. I would love for you to research this topic more that way some neurodivergents who have this condition can be better assisted and not isolated from our own community.
Thank you for sharing this valuable insight.
Understanding and compassion. You gotta have it for yourself first.

Excellent Video thank you
Thank you for the knowledge and the word brother
I once told an HIV-AIDS patient that I empathized with him and his condition. He responded by saying that I could never do that unless I myself suffered from HIV-AIDS .
😂❤
There is validity to both experiences and perspectives.
Imagine if there was empathy during the holocaust.
Happy jewish year 5874
Imagine if Israelis had it now…
It would have never happened, along with any other human atrocity: slavey, colonization, the stealing of land in America, the decimation of 50 Million Congolese people by Belgium for rubber... the list goes on.

If one's behaviour as the on looker remains the same, what is the purpose of empathy as you've defined it?
There are so many layers, aspects and variables to empathy. Best to read my book, PINK IS THE COLOR of EMPATHY to get a better understanding. This video addresses some aspects but not all.
