He’s honestly my favorite character (only partly because of Keith David) he just has a way about him that makes me happy he’s on screen and making bad tech jokes
"Before you got here, they had two..." *"NO"* "They had _TO..._ Often..." 😂😂I always forget that one, so it never fails to get me when I see it. I lived in New York.
I refuse to let Season 6 be slandered when it gave us Elroy (and Frankie)! Also, this video was put together perfectly (especially the placement of the first and last segment)!
@@JohnDemetriou I doubt it. If it was a shot in between takes, then it wouldn't have had the very particular and coordinated dolly movement that it did.
@@NicholasOvihow was that very coordinated? It was a camera pointing at him while the director spoke to him, where else would the camera point if it was already pointing at him?
I say it every time I watch season 6... I think Elroy was such an incredible addition to the cast. The fact that there are 18 minutes of his best from just a single season is a testament to that
The scene during the paintball episode where Elroy walks into the kitchen, realizes it’s a trap, and starts nervously laughing with the chef while telling Britta to come in never ceases to crack me up. Something about the way Keith David does the nervous laugh is gold.
The green 3 ball thing is one of those jokes I don't get and the more I think about it the less I get. And yet somehow I can't stop laughing every time I hear it.
Honestly, I don't know what to make of that scene, in my mind it's an Easter egg for Rick and morty. Rick and elroy had an adventure then he got mind blasted by rick
Maybe it’s a reference to something, but maybe the surface level is all there is to the joke, and I honestly think that’s the funniest possible option. Community is already a pretty surreal show, and the green 3 ball makes for a good surreal joke.
We have a tendency to underestimate that last clip because we've memed it to death... but the line "Now this is a man that knows how to marry his cousin" with all the context of the scene and the comedic timing and everything? Gold.
I need to watch this season again, I wont lie I was a hater after watching it the first time but after watching a few compilations, I see its value now. Particularly Elroy
Oh come on, how can you make an Elroy compilation without "Paint? Ball?" *everyone points guns at each other* (While holding gun) "What is paintball?" Britta: "Cut the crap Elroy!"
His final line was so funny it saved the whose season 6 for me. When I first saw it, I had to pause the file and laugh for about 5 minutes before O was able to continue. It was much funnier in the context of the episode, which can't be reproduced in a compilation
I loved elroy. I wonder though would he fit with the original group? He came at the exact right time. Him and Frankie and the criminology professor were pretty amazing but also created an entirely different show.
Keith David is a LEGEND. His brain is the size of Jupiter.
He’s nobody’s fourth Ghostbuster

"I have a brain the size of Jupiter; I'm nobody's 4th Ghostbuster." Is one of the hardest lines in this entire show.
It's like a lyric from a Steely Dan song.
@@richardgrier8968 oh god i love it even more now
If he's not in the Community movie, We Riot!!! He made some of community's best moments for me. Keith David nothing but Iconic all day everyday.
He should at least narrate part if he isn't physically in it.
He’s honestly my favorite character (only partly because of Keith David) he just has a way about him that makes me happy he’s on screen and making bad tech jokes
The movie should be a play on reunion episodes. Have everyone come back
i live in argentina but happy to travel to riot if he is not in the movie, its vietnam now baby
We riot like it's Vietnam now baby, or we riot like it's Space Wild West?
Community doesn't get enough credit for how good it is at adding new characters to the group that feel like they've always belonged.
Now this is a show that knows how to add good characters
So true he is one of my favourites and I always forget he’s barely in it yet I love the show just as much when he’s not in it.

The look on his face when Frankie says she doesnt own a TV, omg 😅😂
comedy gold
That was him deleting her from his brain 😂

That whole part about Frankie saying she's trying to find the IT lady, and subsequently being told to hire a new one is just brilliant 😌
Especially since Frankie's actress previously played the I.T Lady
@@thenemesis8438yes that was the point of what they said. But feel free to circle and underline it.

"They're national heroes." "Yes they are! Leave them alone!"
To be fair, if I had encouragement coming from the magical voice of Keith David, everything WOULD feel better

such an underrated character, i love elroy
Keith David (Elroy Patashnik) has won 3 Emmys for doing voiceovers!
Encouraging White People what an amazing bit and great performance by Keith
Gosh I love Keith David
Keith David could literally be the coolest guy in the world. Not exaggerating.
Now this is a man, that knows how to marry his cousin!
possibly the best line of the show.
I like how Abed asks Spawn if he’s a demon 😂 I love it 😈
Elroy, to me was legit a throwaway character but Keith David is the gift that keeps on giving and we love this man for it
"It's Vietnam now, baby" is verbal WILDFIRE.
Must read!!! Lunch lady´s emails at 5:43
The Russian Email is from someone named Zhazira, and roughly translates to "Den on Liberation in Bulgaria from the Ottoman Empire"
Professor Hickey no!!
Vicky is the lunch lady's daughter?!!? wow
