If all that mattered was intelligence, we'd just have to consult people like Dr. Sharpless for all political disagreements. Just because you are 'smart' or have a high IQ, that doesn't mean you have critical thinking. What Destiny does so well is being genuinely curious about why people believe what they do and seeing if these justifications valid. This is difficult for most people as we tend to let our emotions guide our beliefs. Admitting that you are ignorant or wrong goes against our nature as humans and it takes guts. This problem is amplified by the internet where we can feel absolutely validated about our own beliefs and blocked out ones that disagree, making people even less likely to question their beliefs. This process of critical thinking isn't some radical or new idea, which is why Destiny doesn't need to be a genius advocate for it. I would actually argue that abortion isn't just limited to being a social issue, because there is a real, tangible, financial cost to giving birth to, and raising a child. Most of us don't want to raise a child unless we feel like we're financially stable enough to do so, because we understand that our fiscal ability to take care of a child is probably going to impact that child in one way or another.

Also needs gym streams....the sciatica is going to show up soon. Its amazing he doesn't have a slip disk already.
It's wild to see such lovely video quality juxtaposed by the absolutely awful audio quality. A shame.
Good video! Destiny is the only content creator on the Left who doesn't go too far Left. He really keeps it centered on a lot of point where the left goes crazy.
Ya the Rittenhouse issue a while back and now the Israel Palestine thing in the modern day have both opened my eyes to just how brain dead a lot of the left can be as someone who also identifies as part of the left. I honestly treat those situations, especially the Rittenhouse one as a litmus test for people on the left for us, their good faith or not.
Lool no he is not. Let me guess u are not on the left.
There are many more
@@hunterzolomon1303I'm on the left and I agree

His beard looks so good.
The most interesting thing about this guy is that he has blue hair.
Said by someone that didn't watch and obsessively stalks his online presence to cry about how uninteresting he is. You're captivated.
@@DogshitArgument “Didn’t watch” and “obsessively stalks”? Wow, I’m impressed with myself.
@@matthewa.4095 Nice non-response, sounds like you don't have any disagreement with what I said.

the only thing that needs a tweak here is the audio/mic quality. otherwise, great content!
Learned absolutely nothing about him. Low-stakes, generic questions.
He barked, I came.
I'm dreaming of a Destiny vs Ben Shapiro open debate.
Same
It’s already set up.
@@JudasMaccabeus1 When will it be?
@@rexx9496 I’m not sure on exact date. I only recall destiny saying “I’ve got a debate with Shapiro coming up soon” or something to that effect.
@@rexx9496 like the other guy said an exact date has not been told to the public yet at least as far as I’m aware, but it is set up and they will be debating Biden versus trump. Mostly that will be the topic.
His debate against Polygamy was probably my favorite
The problem is if you engage with extremists, the algorithm will feed you more extremism
I engage with extremists as well, pretty much daily, if you go into it knowing you aren't going to change their mind and just try to have a discussion it usually still goes poorly but sometimes you actually get through to someone. Also i know this is going to ruffle some feathers but the right wing is often times far more extremist than the left. Take from that what you will. I don't agree with Destiny on quite a few topics but I recognize his work, I enjoy his debates because he's very good at it and I think in general he's a net positive for the left.
Lmfao “”the left””
@ultravioletiris6241 yeah the left, he makes leftist ideas more palatable to everyday normal people. Like I said, I don't agree with him on a lot.
I'm gonna partially disagree I've seen plenty of pro violence lenanists and anarcho communists I've seen and crazy pro male castration radfems etc. However the right wing is mostly constructed of all the people apposed to the left so it's a patchwork movement. A libertarian and radical Monarchist have little in common yet both are often considered right wing. So when looking at online rightwing spaces it will appear like their are more overall right wing radicals when in truth their is just more diversity and variation within rightwing radical beliefs.
@@wingsoffreedom3589 Yea the fact that libertarians and monarchists both are considered rightwing is a testament to how poor this colloquial terminology is at describing real people.
@@ultravioletiris6241 indeed the left right axis is flawed it's defined by the left and the right is everyone else which is sill. Look up the political trichotomy it has an up axis of liberty left axis equality right axis for tradition. With the various ideologies makes on rather nicely.
THAT'S MY BOY
The difference between Vaush and Hamasabi and Destiny is that they are actually brain rotten and actively ignore or try to misrepresent facts to suit their preestablished POV without ever trying to expand or adjust their opinion based on evidence, while Destiny does tons of research (live on his stream) to make sure he has the facts right before formulating his final opinion, actively seeks out people who disagree with him so he can test his ideas against theirs, and he even does the "unthinkable" - change his opinion based on evidence.
They are conclooders
My favorite part was when Destiny called women a minority
Thanks for having Destiny on.
This guy is a blatant liar, beware and fact check.
I've been through a lot of rough moments in my life. But I will always be forever grateful to the mighty Allah for blessing me this hilarious comments section.

This was really cool!
so plump!

i wonder if Destiny's opinion on polymerous relationshop's has changed in recent time
Trump only lost to Biden by like 60,000 votes. I don't think it's a runaway. For reference Trump only won by 76k in 2016.
Thank god it's not the institute of marriage and long lasting relationships. That would've been awkward.

is this why you engaged and married Melina?

why is the audio quality so horribly metallic robotic though; like all the gain cranked up all the way?

Why did they spend the first few minutes talking about Vaush and Hasan???
Destiny trying really hard in very the beginning to speak more slow is hilarious it sounds wrong
The body type and posture are crazy
Haven't watched much of Destiny's content. Primarily on other people's channels where there are a group of people debating. He's more open minded, honest, and smarter then I expected. He needs to get rid of the blue hair for good. It's not him. Looks terrible and he doesn't pull it off. I'll have to check out his channels. Happy 2024. Cheers!
he hadsnt had the blue hair for a bit. they been sitting on this video lol
You're right it looks terrible. Pretty sure he did it for charity and later on kept it to bait conservatives.
His hair looked bad here but the hairstyle worked for his brand in the red pill debate panels since he dyed it.
@@carrottvision7844Yeah, he's got to play the heel to make those guys somehow look like the reasonable ones.
Wish I knew his opinion right now on females after Melina
I could never imagined I would be in the timeline where Destiny got fat and Vaush got in shape.
Lol
he's so right about the "progressives". I dont really pay attention to much politics but even as a left leaning person some of these trans, and gender, focal points seem so ridiculous. The right has somehow done an amazing job of labeling every single on the left as someone who thinks there is no gender.
Yessss, the new paradigm in public discourse: just call people with positions other than your own "extremists", that way you can dye your brain blue and you alread won 😂😂
