Awesome setup man! I’m building my unlimited now, I’m curious how you attached the cutting board to the gear pod? I like that idea a lot because I have a switchblade also
Thanks dood! I drilled 2 holes in the cutting board and used 2 track bolts to bolt the cutting board to the track on the gear pod. If you watch my updated video you’ll see I got a better transducer arm.
She's beautiful Bro! I love how everyone shares there boats, in what i think is a amazing sport. Its fishing, building a one man boat, in a different way for all of us. No two boats are ever the same. Thats what makes one piece if tournament fishing awesome. Seeing all the different setups we have. Especially on an early morning launch. It's extremely Epic! 💯 🛶 🎣
I’ve heard some negative things about it and the lowrance 3-1 transducer because it’s so big. The biggest thing though for me is I like to vertically fish in the winter. I need the transducer up front so I can drop my jig next the transducer so I can watch it go down on 2D when I’m “video game” fishing.
Nah I’ll stay with the xi3. My style of fishing is to stand when I fish. With the fixed rudder in the back and bow mount up front it’s as if I’m fishing off a boat. I don’t like to sit and fish and if I ran a motor in the back I’d have to sit to control it unless I came up with something. Love the xi3. This is my 2nd one. Thanks for the comment 🤙🏻
What do you think about running that freshwater ix3 in brackish water? I want to put the saltwater model on my upcoming build but cant find a release bracket to mount on the Unlimited
I was looking for a way to install my switchblade. Got the gear pod today. Thanks for showing!
No problem!

Thanks dood! I agree!
Dope
Best setup I've seen. Do you have a parts list?
Thanks man. Find me on Facebook.
Looks good man!
Thanks!
Very nice set up super clean
Appreciate it
Really nice setup Nate! Any particular reason you did not go with the NuCanoe Transducer Retract?

@@Nategoodwinfishing gotcha! Nice setup!
dude that gas strut is genious. Where did you get that? What size? Details
Thanks man I stole it from a buddy. I got it off Amazon. It’s pretty small. If I remember when I get home I’ll see the size.
Dude rig mine lol. I’ll bring the beers and steaks.
Haha
Do you think you'll use any power at the stern or will you just stay with the Xi3?

I’d do it. Just wash it after. Release bracket like the motor mount?? For the xi3?
@@Nategoodwinfishing Yes, I just need to call a vendor and see if the saltwater bracket will fit the unlimited
@@Nategoodwinfishing Thank you!
