I got these for my native slayer and love them. Man, I’m really thinking of possibly selling my yak to get a Nucanoe. It just looks so stable and I’m a bigger guy. I love that the seat rotates and would like to get comfortable standing some here and there. My slayer max is so heavy and the specs on this looks like it’s lighter than my current setup. My shoulders aren’t what they used to be so that would be nice.
I love my unlimited man, it really is insanely stable. The only time I’ve missed the pedal drive is when I want to go to one of our kayak only reservoirs that don’t allow motors at all.
I’ve been doing same thing on my unlimited. I try and keep one side open for landing fish and in case of flipping and need for reentry. The 360 casting is worth taking fewer rods for shallow fishing for sure
Thanks for the video.. I had actually searched and found these after seeing them on your rig. I don’t like anything vertical if I can help it either. YakGadget is great and close to us Lake Chick anglers so shipping is really quick 😊
Nice video! Awesome job with the kayak! It is looking awesome. Thanks for taking the time to share my friend. I enjoyed watching. As always, #RCOFishing rocks!!!
@@redclayoutdoors Thanks! I was out fishing a few days ago on my new pedal kayak and I made a cast and I got tangled with another rod and they were out of commission. Luckily I had a third rod and caught more fish. I'm new into pedal kayaking. I didn't use my paddle at all fishing except when I was coming to shore. I'm at the beginning of my learning phase. I learn something each time I go out. Loads of tun. Thanks again for your reply.
What if you mount the flag to your seat? That way it stays behind you the whole time even when you turn the seat? I have a sure attachment to my seat that has storage p, I know they make side attachments to the seat that had a rail on it.
Sweet setup. I currently run a Native Titan 10.5 and have been considering going to a nucanoe. I love the Titan but I feel it's not as versatile. The pedal drive and rudder on the native keep me from dropping into a lot of rivers.
Amazing set up how long do you think you could run on 100 amp lithium battery? How many hours and also how many miles just a guesstimate you just sold me?
How does it do when theres chop or when there are big wakes from boats? I worry about the weight of that trolling motor on the front and the front dipping straight into a swell.
Maybe a dumb question, but how would this work with a paddle kayak? I’m fishing out to a Vibe Seaghost 110 and can’t stand anything interfering with my paddle stroke.
One more thing..sorry if you’ve already mentioned this in another vid…what battery size are you using for your trolling motor.. and what kind of performance are you getting?
Running the amped outdoors 100 amp hour lithium battery. I haven’t really pushed it yet but I easily get an 8 hour day out of it using spot lock and running full blast from spot to spot. I might could get 2 days out of it but I’d rather not have to paddle back if I can’t haha.
I have these on my Old Town 136 . And love it . I hated carrying them vertical. It was hell going under trees.
Great idea for running rivers

How do you paddle with the rod holders on the side?
@@nedbeadel8432 it’s not ideal for paddling but you can do it with a longer paddle. I ran the xi3 on this rig so I rarely had a paddle in my hands.

I want that seat!!! Can you mod that I to fitting on a topwater 106?? Great video!!
I would say anything is possible
I modded that seat to my AP120 for the 360 feature. Other than it sitting a little higher, it works great!

Make the switch, you won’t regret it.
The reason I went with nucanoe unlimited, is too fish mich rivers up north, so versatile

you just sold me?

No issues, I do keep the majority of my tackle and the battery in the back as well as keeping my seat as far back as I can and it does great

Not a great for paddling

I have gone horizontal for the past year or so...never going back to vertical.
I like them but worry the reeks will take a beating in salt water
