I love how exhausted uncle Roger is by the time he adds the peanuts that he has to sigh that's right lol.
I've never laughed so hard at a cooking show!😂😂
You gotta see Uncle Roger shit on Gordon Ramsey and BBC Food
"Entry level wrong stuff" - perfect description of a lot of Jamie's videos
Jaime has got to just be trolling Uncle Roger now 😂😂😂
The problem with Jamie Oliver is that he totally bastardizes dishes, but still calls them by the original dish's name.
This isn't pad thai anymore. Jamie should just give it a name and say it was inspired by pad thai.
It's particularly bad because his show is not meant for serious cooks. So, a lot of his audience will think his recipes are close to the real thing. He is building an army of misinformed fans lmao.
This guy is not helping the bad reputation of British food. Ffs lol
I mean, Jamies British recipes are at least kinda decent xD He just fucks up everything not European.
Sorry but NOTHING tops Gordon's grilled cheese fiasco. Jamie may just love his jams and shit but that was horrendous lol.
My wife used to be a Jamie Oliver fan when I first met her back in the early 2000s lol so I held him in high regard until I started watching him. Now it's a teasing point. Also the Nigella jokes are funny.
I’d have to say Jamie’s Ramen 🍜 was despicable! Takes the cake.
That grilled cheese close second 😅
jamie oliver balsamic vinegar pork loin roast. amazing. Its under pork loin roast with cracklin. But, only make the pork roast and nothing else for a cheaper dish, its super cheap and one of the best dishes I make for the money. All of his old videos, I cant watch them because of all the techniques that he was using he only learned from one person at that time so he was emulating what he thought was right. But further on he learned from multiple people and took the best and became his own style. Old videos are cringe yes, but that pork roast? you have to make that. If you want to make cracklin then look up and find a southern backyard fat man with a beer in his hand. He knows the best way.
@@tishaw.8254 lol I was gonna put Nigella's Spring Roll up there too. That Uncle Roger vid made me laugh and cringe so hard.
Big difference between a grilled cheese sandwich (using the wrong cheese/ too thick cut cheese) and bastardising Asian cuisine - JO is worst hence the p*ss take by everyone! 😂
I'd rather eat gordon grilled cheese rather than noodle with tofu slushy
13:46 She is correct. "Learning all the wrong stuff - Start right, finish right."
Sorry, politely disagreeing on the "you start out entry level learning all the wrong stuff-"
Mistakes happen, but no person learning an entry level skill should ever intentionally seek out mediocre help and *then* better help. My music teacher used to demand we take our learning slow. If we learned it wrong the first time, it was twice as hard. We had to forget the original habit, relearn the correct way - rather than simply building one correct skill.
Absolutely agree with you: I can't think of anything that you should first start doing wrong, and then switch to doing right. It's all too easy, often, to do something wrong during the learning process; that's how we learn. But no teacher worth the name teaches the student to do something wrong first (unless the teacher is demonstrating errors to avoid).
Have you guys reacted to Jamie’s Ramen? 😂😂 it’s a sight to see
The biggest joke was he did not use Ramen noodles in Ramen.
British people are not known for their cuisine, and Jamie is a perfect example of it. Also, he's says it a veggie recipe but adds an egg.
they are known for their cuisine, just not in a positive manner lol. might be the only cuisine that is universally disliked. it always tops the charts in "least favorite"
its a veggie recipe as in the base and main ingredients are veggies, not vegetarian. Egg is garnish.
I agree about the veggie and then he adds the egg, but watch UK's 10 best street foods. Then you'll realize that the Brits can cook. Everything on that video look delicious, except one item that had the blood sausage and you can take that out.
Veggie as in old classification where it meant no meat/ fish but dairy fine - wow can’t believe I said something in his favour! 😲
It used to be simple - carnivore, vegetarian and vegan. Now it’s reclassified into complicated BS 🤯
JO is not to be representation of British cuisine and British chefs/ cooks!!! 🤦🏽♀️ We think he’s awful! 😂
Jammy Olive Oil
That guy is hilarious! I hope he recovers from his stroke.
Uncle Roger is to funny lol
i just found your channel, and i'd love for you to react to more of him on the channel!!! its so good!!! i can't wait to see the gbbo of the bad food made!!!
Talking about Jamie's obsession with healthy food, you should look up his attempt to get kids into healthy chicken nuggets....... He cries.
I heard that he ruined food in schools in the UK for a long time.
per grill the sausages, and slice before adding to the stew.
Bloody love you guys 😊
Uncle Roger food reactions are too funny
americans eat spam, but mostly in hawaii. i wouldnt eat it by itself like a sausage or bacon but id make spam fried rice.
That part! And my fav is spam musubi 🤞
I eat it like a sausage. Make a sandwich, I add it to my Alfredo as well. Spam is fantastic.
Fried spam is delicious
Camera quality is different ...in a fantastic way 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Tbh For certain angle i thought i watching Sigourney Weaver reaction lol.
Had to google "wa lao eh", and I think that was him genuinely losing it, lmao. Reverted back to Malaysian slang.
Hahaha ... Love it when uncle Roger goes 🆘 mental 😂😂😂😂
Honestly it's a Eur-Asia dish and might actually be tastful to the European palet!
Thai people won't even give it to the street dogs! 😂😂😂
Er just no! 😂
That sauce looked absolutely foul
Mint and coriander is a common combination in Vietnamese cuisine. Unfortunately Jamie Olive Oil confuses Asian cuisines.
I love Uncle Roger, he cracks me up. I thought he was so weird at first, until I discovered it was a bit. That tofu looks like egg salad to me🤢🤮
Jamie should just introduce it as vegan noodle or something like that rather than calling it pad Thai. When you get specific, that's when it goes wrong
the best analogy i've seen so far on jamies "asian" dishes would be an asian cook, who makes a "classic british dish" with baked beans, a croissant and a bratwurst.
SPAM is a beautiful
Specially Processed Artificial Meat. Good shit.
Something Posing As Meat. Horrible.
I get my nourishment from food shows.
Watch the video where Uncle Roger and Gordon Ramsay become friends making fun of a certain chef.
How the F does a TV chef get away with using a metal spoon for stirring!?!?? FFS, are there no wooden spoons left in England? Have you banned them in Parliament like your pointy kitchen knives? 😂
FYI…Spam is more used for Japanese and Hawaiian Food, and NOT Chinese Food.
Hi there im from the uk and i watch hours and hours of cookery programmes and have all the latest cook books and cooking equipment up the arsehole ..but i cant cook for shit honestly i cant cook a fking thing i will burn toast and water and overcook eggs the lot so im just saying watching a trained chef cooking like shit is great for me
Jamie is definitely aware of Uncle Roger. I almost want to believe Jamie is doing this on purpose at this point to get Uncle Roger to react to his videos.
Spam is American and is the National dish of Hawaii, but they make homemade not canned. Before you challenge me do some 😂on the history of spam. Sausages are best cooked in beer no matter what kind of sausage
Sorry ,,,,,Cowboy Kent Rollins is hard to beat.. easy, simple ,recipes uncle Rodger approved. Lol
👍🏻
hi. you can copy this. ผัดไทย for real pad thai in youtube and sory for jamie sad thai. lol. thank
Jamie Oliver is either just seeking attention at this point, or obsessed in 'healthy' food that just doesn't work well. Heck, people know him as the guy that can make Italian food, and he even is slowly angering them with his 'healthy' obsession by apparently spitting in the faces of the Italian chefs he trained with by breaking way too many Italian traditions.
good one, as always ;)
Bull about his grilled cheese. We just have American cheese, butter, and a pan... I forgot bread. Not fancy cheeses. Just a perfect grilled cheese
Please react to more Uncle Roger content :)
i saw jamie olive oil in australian master chef over 10 years ago he was supposed to give some class to winners of some challenge but what he presented was absolutely garbage and the contestands was confused and learnd how to not to cook steak
Where are you Jamie? Not a word anywhere. Almost feeling bad for the guy since actual pro chefs are mocking his recipes nowadays after Uncle.
Yea that did not look like something I would want to eat, and I've always said don't eat with your eyes....but there are exeptions. I've never been particulaly into Jamie Oliver, the whole thing with school meals I didn't like. I understood what he was trying to do, but as with everything he seems to do, he went too far. And Asian food does not really need changing, egg fried rice is pretty easy, pad thai is not that difficult. There are complicated Asian dishes sure, but a lot Jamie has done are fairly simple no need to change. At least not to the extent he does, I understand fusion food. But this seems far beyond that, I wonder if Jamie is just trolling Uncle Rodger at this point.
That is so disgusting. As a cook myself. I hate Jamie Oliver.
I have mad respect for Chef Ramsey, but Jamie Oliver is the British version of our Guy Fieri. Both of them can't cook worth a sh!t.
I've got friends in Vegas that says Gordon Ramsey's restaurant are expensive, but well worth it. Guy Fieri burger restaurants sucks. Even Ashley said it, that Jamie Oliver can't take criticism. How can a chef not take criticism and become better at its profession.
Gordon Ramsay goes all over the world to learn new recipes and techniques and elevate some of the recipes and keep the others very traditional. When I first saw Gordon Ramsay, I thought that guy was the biggest prick I ever seen in my life. I kept watching him and then realize, he can say whatever he wants, because he can back it up with his culinary skills and Michelin star recipes. That's how to be a GOAT like Chef Ramsay and not a JOKE like Jamie Oliver. LMFAO 😂
To me, I wouldn't go to any of Jamie's restaurants
Hi guys, just a few ideas for things you might enjoy reacting to. Found a TH-cam channel callled EllenPlaysBass. Very entertaining, she's kinda like the Tina S of bass only she talks to her audience and even giggles sometimes. Or the band Arch Enemy. I don't know if you like them Dave? But I bet Ash would. Also just discovered an amazing band called Snakestomper: I think they're from your neck of the woods. Anyway, great stuff. Cheers from Canada!
First 🙌
No.
If people want to learn to cook, don't watch Jamie Oliveoil, at least watch Gordon Ramsay.
I think Jamie is targeting a specific demografic. The "white amount" people that are scared of traditional foreign food and prefer the bland food. They want the idea of eating other culture's dishes but Americanized/Britishized.
Spam is British?
Easy kids, I don't think chili jam (Jamie Oliver) is that terrible. But, you know... uncle roger is worried about the west taking over the asian market
I worried the West will think Asia food disgusting when they try Jamie version instead of real deal.
Uncle Roger is the best and his cooking is number 1. Jamie Oliver on the other hand is really not great at all and way overrated, regardless that you think he is positive, which means nothing.
Also, "Start right finish right" is the best way to explain how to cook. Understand the basics.
I love cooking and cooking from recipes
But if I see the creator is from the UK, I move on. Including Gordon Ramsey. He's been called out before. They have no food culture whatsoever.
I can not stand Uncle Roger....Anyone who forces an accent for more popularity pisses me off. Before you comment, look up a video of him in an interview its most defiantly not like his videos.
Is that you Jamie?
@@oldcodger4371 no. Just someone who doesn't like people pretending to be someone they aren't for more vieiws/money.
@@Mr_SirCharlie He's a comedian. A court Jester. Why are you so angry and bitter? You're not jealous of his success are you? If you want to get angry, why don't you complain about maniacal politicians trying to start a nuclear war? Come on man, put that bitterness to good use. Otherwise, STFU!
@@Mr_SirCharlie I was so betrayed when I found out that Idris Elba isn't in fact American! The audacity of him to fake an American accent for a role!
@funnytoss great comment. 😂
I'm a Taiwanese-Chinese, who was born and raised in The Lone Star State. And, using that phrase as a Non-Asian ISN’T racist at all. Just don't call us “Yellow” People, because for one Asians DON’T have yellow skin. If we were to have yellow skin…then we would have Jaundice. And, most importantly, Asians AREN’T “cowards”. Yellow is a slang term for coward.
