Hi Nicole 🌺. Very cool video of propagate plants and whatever the different method of propagating plants and shrubs trees , we will be happy with b the successful result . Have a wonderful day .🌻🍁🌻
thanks nicole, i am going to try my snake plants on rooting. hope mine does as good as yours have. thank you for sharing your tips with us. hope you have a great day!!!
I've only recently found your videos. I love propagating new plants. I learned this past summer you can propagate lantana from stem cuttings. I learned it accidentally when a piece broke off and I stuck it into another pot and it grew!
@GlendaPeters-k3k That's a great story! I love when happy gardening accidents happen. I'm glad to hear that about Lantana because I got a new one in the Fall I'd love to have more of 😊 Glad you found me 💚
Sweet potatoes root in about two weeks and are ready to plant.... You can even root them in water thats placed outside. I bring in some cuttings before they die in the winter and place in water to have plenty of them for spring.
Great video. Do you change the water every week in ALL your plant cuttings? Or just your snake plant? Going to try plant cuttings. Thx so much for sharing!!
I do change the water out weekly for all my cuttings. They get the indirect light from being by my tub window, but besides that, I don't do anything crazy. Thanks for your message!! 😁
I just can’t get those tickle pickle out of my mind.if you save any seeds from yours I will be happy to but some from you I trust you lol are if you a plant I buy it from you.i could watch you all day you have so much energy.and make things grow so good let me know. Judy
Question about taking cuttings from the Lemon Coral Sedum. Do you have a video doing this? I got some of it this sprung after seeing it in your garden. I've had so many people admire it and ask for a cutting. When is the best time to take cuttings? Thanks!!
Thanks for this message! This is going to sound like a generic answer, but i have divided, rooted, and moved mine in all seasons. Since I don't know where you live though, I'd say you're safest in spring and fall. Maybe try taking a piece of yours and moving it to a spot close to the current plant, but at least you'll have 2 separate plants that you can watch, and give the new one away if it takes off. They're usually so easy so I wish you lots of luck growing tons of it!
I was shocked at those roots after only 4 days! I do have some coleus I'm wanting to save for next year so I'm going to give that a try :)
I know, I was shocked also! It's so nice to have things react quickly so we can have MORE! 😁
Interesting about the snake plant.

Thank you for all the information, Nicole! I’m going to ask my mom if she still has her snake plant. I want to try to root some now!

Yes that was me! I found it at a local nursery as a plant, no seeds. Sorry about that!

@mycarolinagarden Thank you. I live in Eastern NC, Zone 8, so it doesn't get extremely cold here in the winter.
