At first glance, the characters look deceptively simple and then you see the amazing animation! The music score by Alan Menken is amazing as well.

I rode this ride in 2001. It was just ok. Then rode it last week (2019). And it was SPECTACULAR! I read the ride went through a total makeover in 2006. And for the better! Go online, compare the 2 different versions and see how great they changed this ride!

One of my favorite disney rides!!! When I was there, riding it again and again, it was the original version before the song and the cat were added. It had this very haunting music, which gave the whole thing a very different feel. Wide angle is a great touch!!!! Thanks,

Yes, it is different music and some of the characters are different. I have both a 2003 & 2011 version on video. I like the current version much better.

I remember visiting DisneySea and riding this ride back in 2005, and I don't remember that song at all. Is it a newer addition to the ride?
