- Well here is the maiden flight of my latest 50mm toss and boss hand launching edfs, the Xane RC Mig -17 50mm. This Xane RC Mig -17 50mm is a pnp plane I got from RC Castle and this is her maiden flight!

Awesome little toss and boss edf! She took some effort to get her trimmed out in the wind but she ended up stable and fun!

Well done man. We have one coming from Banana Hobby in December. Have you flown it much after this day? Curious how it is handling 4s so far. Good looking little Mig!
Second flight was a disaster , but lost control of her and burned up the esc, 4s is a no go for me but it may have been a bad plane from the get go. Test your ESC first on 4s on the bench for heat. 3s may be the only option. I have so many other projects I have not had the time to dig into her and find out what made me lose all control. I used hot glue to assemble her and it worked real well.
you handle the edf jet really good in that wind your going to have to bring back out on a calm day bet it will rip the sky up, Good Job ☺✈🛫🛬👍👍

That's why I have a rate switch for ailerons and one for Elevator. Cause mine like low rates for ailerons and mid rates for Elevator

LOL yeah it did.
The biggest thing about using a 4S instead of a 3s is that you may blow your fan up.
It's probably worth it, though, for the performance. They are fairly cheap, but it might blow hole in the foam. 😊
