As someone who fixes and replaces windshields I can tell you from experiance, this is snake oil and also wasnt executed properly. If you use crack repair and still see the crack, its not repired nor filled and will continue to grow with tremp fluctuations or vibration.
Helpful fact from a previous Safelite repair tech. Hold the razor directly over the glass and swipe with the razor edge facing the glass. The razor wont damage the glass because the glass is actually tougher than the razor. It'll sound god awful. When you slice it like that you have a chance to pull the resin out of the chip. The spray is there for lubrication.
Wrong. The glass is definitely harder than a hardened steel razor just not tougher lol, secondly the ebay special kit works better.. u syringe the resin into a little container u stick around the chip then put the syringe on the container and pull the syringe to create a vacuum on the resin. Leave for 15 mins then put the uv lens over top and waot another 10 mins then razpr excess off buff it and you literally cant see the chip
