You subdivided the hell out of the text, though. That adds a LOT of tris. I could have done this with a spline and curve modifier on a text object... I guess if file size isn't a concern...
Yeah it uses a good number of subdivisions, true. Since the application of this is always limited to a small part of the scene, it never became a concern. The simplicity of this is worth taking that subdivision hit, but otherwise what you suggested is also a nice technique with some notable advantages 👍
for simple curved surfaces like this bottle, you can use the text from blender and subdivide it. for more complex curves to avoid stretching, we should use lattice and then shrinkwrap. but I still prefer having it as a texture and bump if it's a bit bumpy.
It works! Thank you! 🤩
Glad it helped! 😊💝💝
Very clever!
Thank you! 😊💝💝

@@danialsoozani Thanks for sharing some nice suggestions 👍
@@5MinutesBlender Thank you for your great videos, I'm a big fan and learned a lot from you :)
@@5MinutesBlender Good morning next tutorial will show us how to set up imagine to the pillars like world data
I tried the method but my text-cube did'n blend at all. I don't know why
Can you please send your blend file to us (5minblender@gmail.com) so that we can investigate it and suggest a solution for you?
